Remember how I've kept promising me to tell you about my play? You didn't really believe me, did you? Of course not. Because that is just the sort of empty promise that I love making. But I will tell you about it now, in an extremely limited fashion, because I am short on time.
I am in a play. The play I am in is called You Can't Take it With You. I play Ed. Ed plays the xylophone. I don't play the xylophone. This shold be interesting.
Actually, it is going far better than I ever would have expected at the beginning. I won't go into details about why I didn't think it would go well, but I didn't. And now I think that it will. And that's a good thing. The cast isn't quite so chummy as with the last show, but the last show had mostly 20-somethings, and this one has mostly grown-ups. Nothing against grown-ups, but for the most part there is less drinking and revelry in their crowd. Which is just as well, since I don't really need another excuse for drinking and revelry.
You should come to my play. It is in Bloomington. It opens tomorrow night, and it will run for three weeks, Thursday-Sunday. Click on this paragraph to learn more.
You don't have to go if you don't want to. I won't be offended.
