You know, on any other day of the year it might seem odd to see grown adults in business attire hugging and high-fiving a giant bear in a baseball jersey at six o'clock in the morning. A little strange that they're all standing in line to make a breakfast of Dome dogs. A touch bizarre to see them snatching up posters of favorite players like so many children in a candy store. But somehow, on opening day that is all acceptable. And that's kind of neat.
