Last nite we went down to Kurts for a sort of end of the year crazytown get together. Couple interesting moments. First, my losing to hot sauce in any sort of drinking game. That really chaps my ass. I was legitimately frustrated that I lost. I dont like losing in general, but losing to someone who talks more shit than I do really lit a fire under me. Ok, so about a half hour after this, 2 random moms come walking through this apartment, saying people need to leave. They got to the back deck and told us all to go. I laughed in her face and drank my beer. We taunted her to call the cops. So this party is getting a little crowded, and morrow and I do the mature thing and go to this little bar, just to have a few drinks. We grew tired of waiting in line at kurts, so paying 5 bucks for a fun size jack and coke seemed the right thing to do. Theres something about big parties that just doesnt entertain me the way it used to. I think i'd rather hang out with 10 good friends, than 60 people i will only talk to if i'm drunk. Anyway, we come back to the news the police were in fact called, but were cool. Chicago police, unlike a lot of suburban police, would rather stop legitimate crime rather than bust a bunch of 20 year olds for drinking. Shortly thereafter, there is another mom, a different one, sitting in the living room. Apparently she came to babysit her daughter or something. If at any point my mom feels the need to chaperone me at a party, put a bullet in my head. However, I didnt let team mom no fun get in my way, i just played beer pong around her, she seemed indifferent to it. About 2:30 rolls around, i pass out in kurts closet on top of a dvd player and some of his dirty laundry. I'm awoken at 3 to the news that Donn Briner is once again in the custody of the Chicago Police. I believe this is the 4th time. He walked in this morning while i was leaving, i think it built some character for him to stay over night as a guest of Cook County.
