LiveJournal: Not As Important Anymore
Hi folks!
I just did a mass defriending. I chopped over half of you. Sorry. It's not about you... it's me. Besides, half of the ones who got the cut weren't even following me anymore!
I haven't been reading or posting to LiveJournal much lately. Instead, I've been hooking up my various interests to automated aggregators that forward all the cool stuff to Twitter and Facebook, and doing my posting, journaling, and other writing exercises mainly on an adult website. If you're really curious, I can give you a link, but be warned, I'm more candid there than I've never been here. Most of you probably won't WANT to see it. Some of you I'd probably even decline!

Flickr's been the primary source of my journal posts here for the last couple years, in any case. You won't miss much. 4099 pictures are worth 4099000 words!
That said, I'll probably still check in on you remaining guys every few months or so, when I'm bored at work or something. Part of this purge was to keep my backlog short, so I have a chance of catching up on the latest when I take the opportunity.
Sorry if anyone's feeling that twinge of "why me?" that I feel myself when I get a defriend in the inbox, but remember... it's not you... it's me. LJ and I have grown apart.
So, for the interim at least, "Rat's Nest" is now "LiveJournal On Ice".
Also, I switched my icon to poop!
