Here's a screenshot showing one of the two useless iPhone toys I'm working on while I wait for Expositor to grind through the review queue.
Poo! So clean! So cute! Until you touch it, then it's poo all over.
Yep, touch anywhere brown and drag your finger around, and it'll smear across the screen. I'm working on the Browntech engine right now. It's going to be very realistic, with streaking and smear decay and such. I have it all planned out.
What the hell is wrong with me?

New and improved with steeper gradients and sunny glow!
Unfortunately, it turns out that in normal iPhone graphics all drawing is all done with vectors, not bitmaps and pixels, so I'm going to have to delve a bit deeper than I thought, bumping my other app up the list for the moment. I can't imagine rendering a full screen of vector poo smears the entire time can be very efficient. I'd want to drop it into a bitmap at SOME point.
But I've already hatched an alternate plan for vector-based smearing... a cluster of autonomous poomitters.
