[event] Octoberfest
Happy October!
For the entire month of October, the Atobe Corporation hosts a festival in Viridian City in celebration of its heir, Atobe Keigo, and the start of winter. Vendors are invited to set up booths at a street market, carnival games are available, festival food is sold on every corner, and competitions (battle and otherwise!) are coordinated to add spice to this great event! Everyone has the opportunity to win fabulous prizes! Evolution stones, hold items, mystery eggs, Pokémon, and cold, hard cash will be given out to trainers for their participation in various games and events.

All month long ALL trainers from every region may enjoy FREE transportation to and from Viridian care of the Atobe Corporation by presenting their PokéGear to any uniformed transportation officer who can be found at all PokéCenters around Kanto and Johto.
Atobe himself will be celebrating his birthday privately on October 4th, but the festival culminates in a special Halloween cruise in his honor on the S.S. Anne, provided it will be secured from Team Rocket by then. The cruise is by invitation only... but the guest list is so huge, you're guaranteed to be invited.
