October 19, 2012 - 22nd Birthday
I just turned 22 half an hour ago and I really shouldn't be awake at this hour 8|
My father sent me a few mystery novels I've been wanting to get and my mother sent me a large package of homemade food. My sister sent me a nice letter with pictures of some of the ruins she's been studying. It was very nice of them to have me in their thoughts.
I don't have much planned for my birthday at all - just a small celebration with Professor Yanagi, our Pokemon, and anybody that is available and want some of the strawberry cake from Marui's stand. My close acquaintances are in Olivine City so they will be unable to attend. I have a slight suspicion that Professor Yanagi will say that this is an opportunity to make a few new friends. I'm not opposed to it, but I honestly am used to being on my own that I don't know where to start. *pushes glasses*
The Wartortle (that joined my party after he assisted Dragonair in fighting off the Magikarp swarm) was just the Pokemon I was looking for to complete my team. He has fit in well with the others and they seem to enjoy his boldness and cool humor. My Pokemon tend to be reserved, respectful, and serious. Growlithe has been wanting to spend a lot of time with his brother, so I have ended up taking them on several walks or watching them play in the fields or dash around the festival area.
Adieu for now. I really should get some sleep so that I am functional during the day.
