Today is my birthday; I turn 23. It feels like only yesterday that I started my Pokémon journey, especially coupled with this adorable Spheal that hatched from the egg Atobe gave me. We can call her an early birthday present~

I've been really enjoying the festivities in Viridian. They do seem to get more and more extravagant each year! I loved the ( Read more... )

A Happy Birthday to you, Yuushi!

Those poffins are rather addictive. My Pokemon keep wanting to have them since we've been in Viridian the entire month, and I have to insist that they limit themselves to once every three days.

Since I know all of their data, I'm comfortable in saying that I'm putting my vote on the Champion's side. It will be an intense battle with close moments though :)

Why thank you, Professor~

They definitely aren't the best for Pokémon to have all the time! I'm glad you're limiting their poffin intake. I would hate to see who shows up to my clinic after this festival with a Pokémon who's eaten one too many...

It should be the most exciting thing to happen for a while~ I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the teams work together - it'll be a first for me.

You're very welcome.

They're... persistent (what else would you expect of a group of fire Pokemon?). However, they know that I'm always doing the best for them so they're okay with it. Have you been busy at the clinic?

Well, I hope that this event doesn't fail to disappoint!

It's good when Pokémon understand you're just trying to look out for them. Some are just like petulant children! The clinic's been reasonably quiet since the festival, but I imagine there will be tons of people rushing in afterwards. I've been able to duck out to Viridian for a few days at a time with careful scheduling.

With your data, you should know if it'll be disappointing or not~

I am not a fan of petulant children. My students definitely know this. /strict

Of course I know, but I prefer not to reveal outcomes to people :)

I, for one, am glad you keep them all in line!

And here I was hoping you'd be able to help me with my betting~

I like order and demand respect.

Ah, hopeful wishing, but I prefer to see people contemplate what the outcome will be and react to it. You're very smart so this should be just fine for you.

And your students will be all the better for it. As well as anyone who has to deal with them.

Oh, I don't doubt my ability~ But you're famed for your data on just about every trainer, so your opinion has more weight behind it.

Just be glad you haven't been a trainer I've faced in battle. I tend to decimate my opponents.

You flatter me and I thank you for it. I just like to know as much as I can because you never know when you'll need the information. I do respect your intelligence and your gift with healing Pokemon! :)

I'll be thankful that I set my battling mantle down in exchange for a doctor's license then~

Thank you for your compliments. And I agree with your assessment - knowledge can open doors when brute force cannot take them down.

Wise choice there, my friend.

And I do love that saying. *jots it down in notebook* I'll be looking forward to seeing you around sometime (and I truly hope that this battle results in a gain in your bank account).
