October 14, 2012 - Viridian City
Work in Olivine City was keeping me busy, but I finally got some time off to go to Viridian City and the flight on Swellow was very smooth. The festivities going on in Viridian City are still very lively despite the massive storm of Magikarp. I have no doubt that all of the energy will last until the end of the month.
I had dinner with Professor Yanagi and let our Growlithe enjoy time together. As much as my Growlithe is attached to me, I know he misses his brother just a little bit more.
The music blasting from the pavilion is too loud for me so I left to go on Route 22 to do some training by the pond. Dragonair and Mantine couldn't be happier to be in the water and went for a good swim with Mantine. The rest of my Pokemon, except Typloshion because of the storm, knocked out their fair share of Magikarp and Nidoran without a problem.
I hope to run into some of Kanto's Gym Leaders during my time here and introduce myself. I know that they will provide challenging battles, but I also know that I can rise up beyond their level through hard work and determination. I will not lose when the time comes.
Hmm... I just got a message from Atobe asking if I would be willing to work for him on his cruise as a waiter. Every bit of money helps, so I will accept the offer. Now I must adieu - the wind is picking up and my umbrella isn't cooperating anymore.
