[October 14] Finally In Pewter!

FINALLY GOT OUT OF VIRIDIAN FOREST!

Everyone was telling me how to beware of Weedles and Poison Sting, beware of Caterpie and String Shot, but no one warned me about the most dangerous thing - HOW NOT TO GET LOST! Got no idea how everyone else made their way out of the forest. I seriously thought I was going to spend the rest of my life in there! ( Read more... )

You do really fascinate me. I am glad that you were able to get out, and remember, you can always call for help too.

Sorry I scared you, Akaya. Pidgey are really nice Pokemon.

Don't get destroyed at the Pewter Gym.

Ehhh, how is me getting lost for days fascinating for you?

I'm sure they're nice Pokemon, but that doesn't change the fact that I'll pass on them nesting in my hair.

Geez, professor, can't you be more encouraging?

Because, despite being lost and irritated and confused and hurt, you managed to see a positive side to your experience and you're still going forward. That's not a very common human characteristic. And you're reactions are so amusing - I don't get to laugh much in my day.

You'll never know until you take the risk.

That was full of encouragement. You're competitive so you'll go out and prove my words wrong.

Of course I'm still charging forward! As if getting lost for days, tackled repeatedly, and falling off trees could set me back! I'm glad my suffering experience makes you laugh, professor. Your life sounds really harsh, you don't laugh much or sleep very much either.

Nope, still pass.

... hm, you're totally right! I'm off to do just that!

I don't see many obstacles standing in your way, certainly. Make sure you're always well-prepared for any situation though - you never know what could happen. Unless you're me who almost always knows exactly what is going to happen. I still take supplies with me for the small percentage that my data doesn't account for.

My life really isn't that harsh :) I forgot to mention that my eyes are half-closed because I wish to hide information about myself and my thoughts/emotions from others... although I could use an hour or two more of sleep. I've never laughed much though - didn't have a lot of people in my life that were funny or had the ability to make me laugh.

Chicken.

I know. Safe travels!

Gah~~~ it's too much work being prepared for EVERYTHING. I've got my basic supplies, but everything else I'll deal with as it comes! That's the only way I'll get stronger!

So, your eyes are half-closed on purpose? That sounds like a lot of work. Hehe, I'll try to make you laugh when I see you in Viridian!

Not funny, professor. I won't fall for that when it comes to my hair.

I am one of those who must be prepared for everything - it serves me well, but I find that it takes away from the supposed thrill of surprise. Perhaps one of the reasons I am fascinated with you is that you're very opposite of my personality, but not in a way that I wouldn't be able to stand you. /contemplates

You get used to it... it really helps in bright sunlight.
Good luck on making me laugh. Your chances are still rather slim at this point.

Darn. Well, watch out for all of that rain. Wouldn't want that to dampen your stylish hair.

Yeah, that doesn't sound too exciting to me ... but if that's what it takes to win, that's all that matters. Hehe, so I guess we're pretty different, huh? But that's fine with me!

Then if I make you laugh, you gotta treat me to lunch, professor!

Rain's not helping. Took me twice as long to fix it up this morning.

No, it isn't the most exciting (I'm not exactly sure if I've ever felt true excitement before though...). But yes, whatever it takes to win is a good way to look at it.

I'm glad you appreciate our differences because I do. I feel like I can learn so much from observing you.

That's a deal, Akaya. Good luck on beating me! What would you want to eat?

I'm sorry to hear. Were you late getting anywhere?
