Oct 13, 2012 06:46

The storm clouds are rolling in - Viridian's festival will continue, but make sure to bring your umbrella!

Rumor has it that all of this rain has drawn out a special Water Pokémon - an extremely hardy Pokémon that thrives in every region of the world. They are so incredibly difficult to get rid of hardy that they can even survive in puddles left ( Read more... )

Ack, this storm cut my training short today! I've gotten pretty good at capturing Pokemon now no thanks to Viridian Forest but might as well get a little more practice in~

A wild Gyarados has appeared! It is racing toward you at an alarming speed! It looks angry about something... angrier than usual for a Gyarados!

W-Whoa, wha the--?! I didn't do anything, why does it look super angry at me?! My mind's definitely telling me to run but I'm going to stand my ground and fight it anyways! Cottonee, use Stun Spore, then Leech Seed!

[OOC: Excuse me while I roll around laughing. All the comments in this post = so much win. XD]

Gyarados doesn't even flinch. Clearly, she eats these attacks for breakfast. Gyarados is about to use Hyper Beam! All appears to be lost when an Energy Ball goes whizzing past your head and smacks Gyarados right in the face!

What's this...?

Gah, I didn't even put a dent in it! But w-what was that attack just then?! It was super cool!!

Wait, I have to focus -- Gyarados looks kind of dazed, now's my chance! Let's try and fight it again, Charmander! Sure hope that other Pokemon is on our side!

Charmander's attacks are more powerful than usual. The mystery Pokemon uses Fusion Bolt. The move is powered up when it follows a fire attack! It's super effective!

WOW! Did you see that Charmander?! That "v" sign! It was Victini, I'm sure of it!! I can't believe I actually saw it! Gahhh, why did it leave so fast??

What is it, Cottonee? Oh, right, the Gyarados. I almost forgot. Well, let's try catching it since it's red and angry shiny and might be kind of rare.

Gyarados batted away your Pokeball! She seems weak... but she managed to escape!

...You wonder if you will see her again?

Gyarados dropped something - is it... a Pokemon egg!

OOF! Whew, this egg was this close to getting smashed open. Great, so I wonder if this is gonna hatch into an angry baby Gyarados or something? Or maybe just a Magikarp.

Well, I can't really just leave it out here so I guess I'll take it with me for now. Hopefully that Gyarados doesn't ... uh ... decide to come back for it or something.

Take good care of the egg!

[ooc: I wanted to work in Victini for you. Hope this was okay. :)]

Of course! Charmander and Cottonee are already pressing up against it to see if there's any movement.

[OOC: Thank you~! Kirihara was saved from getting pulverized by Gyarados, he didn't need to ask anyone for help, AND he got a glimpse of Victini. It was perfect and the "v for victory" was so cute! =D BTW, I literally died laughing at the "Gyarados doesn't even flinch. Clearly, she eats these attacks for breakfast." part.]
