Collection update of awesomeness
Hello, pkmncollectors ! I'm here today with my first collection update, and a little meme. I've gotten some pretty cool things in the mail lately, and I want to share them with you. There are lots of seal Pokemon, Buis, and some new plush. :D Yay!
A preview of my newest goodies:
First up are my new Seel items!
I adore sleeping Seel items. They're so cute! <3 My favorite of this bunch is the cardass card, which came from the lovely pheonixxfoxx. I just love the art on it so much. Cutest Seel ever, y/y? I'm so happy to have this in my collection. <3 The Dewgong swing keychain came from snowball21. It's so shiny, and who doesn't love shiny things? xD I finally got the Seel and Dewgong Tomy figures. I've been meaning to pick them up for a while now. I like Seel's blue-ish hue, it's so old school. Those lovelies came from technicolorcage. The sleeping Seel FCS came from aleyina. More cute sleeping Seel! The sealed sleeping Seel flat came from Sunyshore. It's a little plastic thing you can clip onto the side of your bowl, if I read the packaging right. xD Last but not least, the kid! It's in the old-school Seel pose I love so much, I just adore this kid. Unfortunately, I can't remember who I got it from, and it's not in my spreadsheet. ;A;
Here's what my Seel shelf looks like now. :D
Aaah! Look how amazing it has become! When I joined I had a few random cards and the KFC plush. My collection has exploded! I guess it helps that there's pretty much no competition for Seel items. xD My biggest wants for this collection are the new attack kids (I'm so happy Seel got a new kid -sob-) and the zukan. Luckily I think I'll be able to find those pretty easily. :)
Next are my new Buizel items. This collection has also grown really quickly.
Cuties! The teensie magnet came from Sunyshore as well. I like small things. xD The kid came from snowball21 . I was thrilled to add another Bui kid to my collection. The candy figure and sticker sheet came from celuthea. I've been wanting this figure and was so happy to find him in someone's sales post. I just love his chilled laying pose. He's quite a bit darker than all my other Buis, so I like to say that he's my tanned Bui. xD And finally, the totally awesome swimming Buizel figure came from hitosyura. I've seen him in Y!J and when I saw him here on the comm I jumped at the chance to own him. I love his pose, and he's so adorable. <3

My whole Bui collection! My shelf is filling up, and I love it. So much adorable orange! Buoy gets the seat of honor in his special chair. xD My biggest want for this collection is a specific plush (more on that later, though).
I said in my intro "seal" Pokemon, not just Seel! Who else could I possibly mean but these guys?
Spheal line! I have loved seals, sea lions, and walruses ever since I was a kid, so of course I need some Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein in my life! Sadly, there doesn't seem to be much out there for these guys. D: Anyways! The adorable little Spheal charm and the Spheal TCG are from dionashi. I love little metal charms, but I am too scared to ever use them D: All of the other flats came from pheonixxfoxx! The pose on the little miniature playing card matches the Spheal charm! xD I like the pose on the Walrein kids card. It's like she's just chillin'. The Sealeo Pokedex figure came from zenity. I'm pretty sure it's the cutest thing ever. I was surprised at its small size when I got it in the mail, but then I squeed over how adorable it is. I may have a weakness for Sealeo. xD I lament the lack of Sealeo plush! The Spheal Pokedoll sticker came from rachelled. It is so adorable, I can't even- Also, random Mudkip.

Gah, it's too cute to even look at! Okay, not really, but it's pretty darn cute. I'm pretty sure I will never have the honor of owning a Spheal Pokedoll, so this will have to do instead. xD So perfectly round!
My Spheal line in their natural habitat. I forgot to take a picture of that Spheal figure there, but if you can't tell, he's a boot. He's shaped like an egg, and it cracks me up to look at him. Keep on rockin, you special snowflake. I hope to add the Spheal and Walrein kids to this collection soon.
These are mostly items for side collections (with the exception of Zangoose, of course!) Groudon is from snowball21. Like may other people, I'm trying to assemble my team in kids form. I used a Groudon on my Ruby team. I collect whatever Pikachu items I like, and since there are so many, I can afford to be picky. xD The Tomy is from aleyina and the pan sticker is from pheonixxfoxx. I also got that mini Zangoose playing card from pheonixxfoxx. I love Zangoose's pose! The Diglett pin is from that huge pin GA that happened a while back. Diglett is too adorable to resist.

Everything in this picture came from pheonixxfoxx. :D My Zangoose collection is sad without some Seviper to antagonize, so I've been gathering up a few snake items. I hope to also get the kids and the TFG eventually. Gen 5 stickers! They're too cute! Oshawott is my favorite of the starters. That faaaaaaaace. Yorterrie is one of my favorites of the entire gen, I can't wait to see more merch of it released, especially the zukan. :D I'm excited for Shimama stuff as well.

Skitty Pokedoll and Yorterrie Pokecen plush! <3 Yorterrie came from Sunyshore, of course. He's so soft and adorable, but so incredibly top-heavy. xD Both of these guys are, actually, which is why they're propped up on a book. Skitty came from one of blackfruitbat's kiosk runs. I was so excited to see Skitty show up in the vending machines, and I'm so happy to have her in my collection. I've wanted a Skitty Pokedoll, so it was really neat to have one pop up at an incredibly affordable price. Thanks again for picking her up for me, blackfruitbat! :D

I also rearranged my shelves, since I needed a place to put Yorterrie and Skitty.

I moved my Glameow Pokedoll to live with Skitty and Yorterrie, so the shelf wouldn't look so empty. I also keep my Pokemon manga and Zelda stuff on that shelf...and also Tezuka. Skitty PD is being propped up by a Skitty kid, it's the only way I can get her to stay up. xD On the higher shelf I keep my random figures as well as my Spheal line and Diglett collections. I'm running out of room! xD
If I have purchased something from you and it's not up here, it's because I either A) bought it as a gift for someone or B) my mom stole the package so she could give it to me at Christmas. Yes, my mom takes packages of items I purchased myself in order to give me them for Christmas. xD
And now, time for a bit of a meme! The question: Have you ever randomly noticed something about an item in your collection that you've had for quite some time? It can be any sort of detail that went unnoticed until one day you saw it and said, "whoa!"
For me, it's a little detail on my Buizel Pokedoll.
Can you tell what that is? His front paws have little embroidered pads! One day, I was randomly inspecting the way his paws are sewn to his belly, when I noticed that he had front paw pads. I was really surprised he has that little detail, since you can't see it unless you're actively looking for it. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this before, but I was pretty impressed. xD I've had Buoy for seven months and just now noticed it.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Please share! :D No one else I shared my story with found it at all exciting, but if anyone will, it's you guys. :3
Finally, I come to you today with a major want. In the Buizel section of my post, I mentioned that there's one Buizel plush in particular I really, really want to add to my collection. I have a lot of really cool things I've bought myself over the past month to put under my tree this year, but this one would really make my Christmas. It would actually make my year (and probably the next as well). xD

Takara Tomy Buizel plush! I've had my eye out for him for a while now, but no dice. If anyone has one that they would be willing to sell, please, please let me know! I would love you forever. xD Mint with tag is preferred, but as long as the plush is mint, I will be happy.
