SSS Arrived!
My SSS gift arrived the other day! I am expecting a few things in the mail but I knew exactly what it was since it had the cutest little drawing on it.
Thank you pikachux! I did enjoy my shiny suprises! I hope you've been having a great summer as well!
First Up! CANDY. I rarely buy candy for myself so this is a treat. I've never had the tropical sour patch kids before; they are significantly better than the normal ones. They're not quite as sour but I've still managed to create a raw spot on my tounge from eating too many.
Next was a full drawing of celebi, showing off her shiny colors!
Why celebi? Because the next gift was the PokeCen Shiny Mascot! I already have one, but that means I can actually hang this one somewhere! Most of my colection is boxed up at the moment so its also nice to have something to display. Right now shes hanging out on my nightstand but I think I'm going to attach her to my backpack as a travel buddy.
Her tag was protected by what appears to be pieces of a pokkemon cereal box. I got a real chuckle out of that. Only true pokemon fans eat them for breakfast.
Next up, some flats! I'm not sure the code cards are still redemeable BUT I i did get those events when they came out. I also like the aesthetic of having unredeemed code cards. It kind of has the feeling of "what could hve been" if that makes sense? Like an air of mystery. The applin card is super cute! The textured cards from the shiny vaults are *chef's kiss*. I've been cosidering doing a shiny applin hunt in-game since the Pokemon Presents and I think this card is an omen that I should do it.
And finally! The reason there was an eldegoss on the box! The product and packaging design of TCG products is always excellect and I like being able to add tins and such to my collection. I usually try to buy TCG products in person but none of the stores near me ever carried these. Or maybe they just sold out before I had a chance, which, fair. This tin is lovely and now I'm wanting to track down the others so I can have a full set.
