A Leafy Reintroduction

Long time no post, pkmncollectors community! Figured I would reintroduce myself and share a very past due collection update, as my last one was from 2014.

I'm skydramon, or Sky for short. I have been a lifetime Pokémon fan, starting from the TV show and toys, to the trading cards and video games. I joined pkmncollectors in 2013 with ambitions to grow a collection of my all-time favorite Pokémon, Grovyle. And today I am simply sharing what I have accomplished in 8 years!

For those who remember me way back when, I was also a collector of Xatu, Flygon and Lucario. I actually retired/sold off these collections due to loss of interest and changes surrounding my personal life as I transition from teenager to young adult. Part of me sometimes misses the Lucario, but it became expensive and overwhelming to maintain. There is no way the aura Pokémon would still get the attention it deserves, now that I live on my own with a limited amount of space and fun money!

For a collection then vs now experience, please reference my previous update post: https://pkmncollectors.livejournal.com/17626609.html

For the past few months, I have also gathered a bit of a Groudon collection. This legendary Pokémon is another one of my favorites. That being said, I am not aiming to be a Groudon completionist by any means, as I am very aware just how many items exist. I mostly pick up what I find cool or interesting. The same can be said about my laundry list of other favorites.

I don't have a collection website, but I post daily on my Instagram where I am in the process of individually cataloging all my Grovyle and miscellaneous Pokémon items. So if that's something you are interested in, I'd appreciate the follow! https://www.instagram.com/skydramon/

At any rate, I know you are all really here for the photos, so without further ado...

Surprise! Come on... you didn't think I would sell off my giant Heartland Lucario, did you? ;p
