Geodude Plush Help
Hey all! I still haven't found out anything about the Hasbro Geodude (1998) plush I have. I do know it is not the BK geodude (2000) buuut their print is basically identical.
So my theory is (since I have no other info) that the Hasbro Geodude was a test for the BK geodude design. It's not uncommon for tPCi to give prototypes from one company to another company in hopes they can produce a similar plush. Heck even the costume/puppet designer for Pokemon Live was given prototypes for her to reference.
I do want to point out the double printing on the hands. All other geodude plush don't have an extra pair of thumbs (and fingers) on the back of their hands. lol
I did reach out to Hasbro and they gave me the "we don't sell Pokemon anymore so we can't help you" response.
Any help to figure out this mystery will be greatly appreciated!
