Hello fellow collectors! I'm here with a post of the first half of the years gets (although some still at a warehouse...) but I have quite a bundle of joys I would love to share with you! Post with only photos? No good. Posts with a lot of talking? Yaaaas!! Like your posts about lottery Lugia or phantom Lati (I’m afraid I didn’t comment on any of these entries, I was on a collectiong hiatus at that time :( ), but I enjoyed so much reading your posts. <3
And when the talk is super informative, with a lot of background info it’s even 100 times better! The whole spirit of collecting is about loving the items and loving the collecting itself in my opinion. And the love can be shown through the way a person speaks about own collection.
Now I’m just being enthusiastic about being enthusiastic, hah XD
(Just in case, you can check what policy does your middleman have on the returned packages (do they sent a notification or dispose these without warning D: )
Thank you so much for the photo! Ha, so they DO exist! I’m not sure how should I feel about that XD I’m happy because these coins are nice items to collect, but at the same time... another super rare Beasts to find, I’m a little bit scared at the thought of how many rare merch they have XDDDDDDD I did a quick mercari search, but I found only Lugia (PM’ed you a link just in case) and no traces of Beasts…
I think I don't have any interesting story how I've found that book XD I just searched it by the title on Y!J (I do it every few Y!J visits) and it appeared? Super new, super minty, with all of the pages. I put a high bid and won it without any competition. XDD Originally I planned to resell the separate sheets to people on the community, who I know will enjoy getting rare items of their faves. But the book arrived yesterday, and it's absolutely beautiful; the cover has glossy gold finish, and Ho-oh is pressed on it, making the cover a little bit 3D. All Pokemon and instructions are inside and the book in general is in a super mint condition. I have tears in my eyes at the thought of cutting it to pieces... So there goes my reselling plan XD
It includes 49 Johto Pokemon: from Chikorita to Slowking, Ho-oh, plus an additional photo frame with Pichu. Second book includes 50 Pokemon, so that should leave only one Pokemon from the second half of Johto generation without its paper stand (and my bets are on Celebi). I'm sloooowly making my gets post and I'll include the book there.
Okay! :D It arrived at my middleman, but I plan to add a few things to the package (and carefully calculate its costs so it won't be charged with these ridiculous custom fees, UGH). I just checked that I can do tracked shipping to the UK, so there should be no problem with shipping it, even now :)
I also have (and I don't see it on your site) the Banpresto 10th anniversary Lugia figure (the one with strap and postcard as the backing). It's a leftover from when I tried to make Lugia and Ho-oh my side collections, but was overwhelmed by the amount of merch, haha. I think it’ll be more appreciated in Lugia shrine XD

...aaa that makes me so happy to hear x3! I love rambling and delving into things so much but I know it's not for everyone so I am super happy when I can tell others express the same amount of joy with it as well! x3 I'm with you on those points always love hearing about information of various mons/collections its so interesting to see what others find to further our knowledge about collecting!! Haha no worries had a few hiatuses myself and forced myself not to be around too much in fear of being tempted should a grail appear! The spirit of collecting is definitely an important thing x3!!
((Ah it's cool my middleman was really nice and understanding with me, we got a refund and even gave me discounts on further things since I use them quite often! I'm sure if it goes back they'll let me know!))

Even still an amazing find! Winning for no competition too is yummy! I do wonder how bad it'll get if that silver book does come out! Should I ever do find it though I don't have a problem offering the beasts to you! x3 Really good to know about that! Can't wait to see photos too! Second generation merch is so much harder to find than first gen! It's true for the coins, too. I haven't seen all Johto Pokémon from this series, but I've seen multiple auctions with completed Kanto sets. And second gen coins are in silver and gold versions, wow. I'll keep searching for these coins occasionally. These are nice, but hard to photograph properly; the Pokemon are hardly visible, and my eyes hurt after browsing like two pages from trying to identify Pokemon on the coins…
Thanks, that's so nice of you! :) I probably mentioned it in our previous conversation, but if I find the silver version, you're first to claim all of the Pokemon you want (and a cover XD). I won't be having any moral dilemmas about whether cut the book or not in this case - I want to assemble these Beasts myself XD

It really is! Some of the items that I've found for 2nd gen are lottery prizes with limited amounts (like this one Lugia figure) and it just makes me wonder just how many things there are out there, super fun! Ahh yus I see Johto coins here and there at times but kanto is for sure more distributed. I search coins every now and then because I unfortunately lost my grail Weavile coin in the post... so now I'm even MORE determined to get it gah!! So should I find them you'll be the first to know!
Oo awesome haha I know how hard it'd be to do so too! I don't want to get hopes up but I might have found it...the thing is we're not sure because it's a third party site sooo I'll update you more with information once my middleman has confirmed to have it! It also said second hand and just had a crappy display picture so...I'm just HOPING everything is inside...! I did that with a D&P volume 1 book and FFS half of it was missing but it confirmed Mismagius.... so I have to get that no matter what some time soon when I can save money!

I haven't thought much how to price it yet. I see one on Y!J for 1730 yen, but since mine has damaged box, idk 12$? Also if the condition of the box concerns you, and you want to grab a mint one, that's okay ^^
