Collection post ~♪
Hi everyone! It's been ages since I posted here. Generally, I've posted very little but I love to leave comments and have a chat! This time I'm here to share my collection.
I'll re-introduce myself shortly: I'm violetcyrene, a collector from Finland, I'm turning 26 soon and I've been collecting for 7 or 8ish years. I've slowed down on buying things A LOT during past three or so years. I'm kind of picking up the hobby again but most importantly, I'm trying to appreaciate the things that I already have. I mostly collect(ed) Entei, Deoxys, Ghost types and certain types of plush. My collecting habits and preferences have shifted over the years and today I find myself buying items that are either secondhand, useful/wearable or simply cute!

Before sharing my collection with you, I'd like to thank my fellow collectors here. I've been collecting for years and pkmncollectors has offered me lots and lots of info, help and support. Through collecting, I've met amazing people online and irl. I've purchased soo many items through this community and achieved goals I set for collecting. It's been a blast; thank you!
I'm sort of particular about the photos I take, and the following pictures aren't the best! The space most of my collection has been in isn't well lit, so I'm sorry about that.
The first collection picture I was able find! Most of the items are from my childhood. I was super happy when I obtained the Ichiban Kuji Entei plush and it sparked my enthusiasm for collecting.
And under here is my collection as it is today... Entei has always been a favorite of mine, and I sure went crazy with collecting him! I don't have much to add about individual items in all of these pictures, but if there's something you'd like to know just ask away ♡
There was a point when I realized how cool Deoxys is in pokemon games and I was going through an intense sci-fi phase. Still love him today ♡ (ye it wasn't just a phase okay??)
Here are some "side collections", meaning random pokemon that I like scattered all over the place. Mismagius is really dear to me, I love the pokedoll to bits!
The cool guys! I'm a huge fan of ghost types and I wanted to dedicate a shelf just for them. I love Pokemon Center merch that features ghosts, especially anything that you can wear/use! I have some shirts and most notably some Mystery Mansion items missing from the pictures.
Finally, here's a bit of a dated photo of the plushies I have around. Some of them have already gotten new homes, which I'm really happy of, and some have been added!

I've been accumulating things over such a long period of time, it feels kind of unreal honestly. I feel there's going to be a time when I'll need to do some serious weeding, but that's probably somewhere in the future. I've been meaning to post my collection for ages, but I've always gotten self-conscious somehow, whether it be my photos, my English or something. Oh well! I mostly post about collecting on instagram these days. Is it okay to share social media accounts on the community page? I'd love to follow more collectors there!
Today I'm a fan of so many different pokemon that I wouldn't know which ones I'd collect. I put a doodle featuring some of my many favorites below to wrap things up.. Thanks so much for reading and have a great weekend!
