I had to actually look this up, because I never heard of it before. Hypebeast is apparently a magazine that reports on bourgeois street fashion brands and Hypefest was a convention where it put the spotlight on brands like those. Everything those brands sell are expensive like that. Everything. Hiroshi Fujiwara did a Pokemon Go tie in and that plush was given away as part of it. That plush is actually cheaper than the clothes you had to buy. The sticker sheet is ~$50! That's all the information Google Fu yielded for me. It looks like there are a lot of bootlegs of it, but the one you posted is real. The only photos I can find of the real one have the designer (?) next to it or hugging it. Pokevault has a lot of info on it too.

Man the JP Pokecenter can sometimes sell things for some odd prices but at least they never sold a bunch of stickers that use standard stock art with a thunderbolt attatched to them for $50....

I actually laughed when I read this, because that's true.

Just be careful there're thousands of bootlegs already on the market...

I've had a hard time getting information as well. But I do know that they were displayed at the popup store at Ginza Sony Park.

Also in my search for information, I found a picture of Victoria Beckham holding the sitting version of the plush. I think it might have to do with Pokemon themed items being part of London's Fashion week.

The process of buying these plush has been rather painful because there was not much information to begin with. With these two plush I don't think its a good idea to assume if the price is high its legit. I've seen a few bootlegs on Y!J that were priced over $100.00.
