recent gets & collection displays
hi everyone! hope you're all having a great summer :D
over the past couple of months I've got some really cool pokemon stuff so I thought I'd pop by and share them with you guys! I'm also going to show off some of my creative-ish ways of displaying some of my collection (mainly plush lol)
but first, the gets! (image heavy under the cut)
firstly, the lovely tomy latias that I got from mercurrix on here (thanks so much again!) I've wanted this plush since before I even started collecting properly so it's great to finally have her :'D people on ebay try to sell her for waaay too much
next the night parade vulpix <3 this plush is such a cutie ;o; I love the expression they've given her and the details in her little jacket are gorgeous
night parade small plate!! This was an absolute Must Have for my collection tbh, it has some of my top favourite pokemon on it and the art is just beautiful! I got a little stand for it so I could display it nicely
the arcanine fit plush :'O I love this line of plush aaaah, they're adorable and tiny and so detailed. The bottom picture is it next to my PC arcanine for a size comparison ^-^
three little babies!! I was hoping to get a mareep but I wasn't too bothered if I didn't, they're all so cute! The detail is amazing for such tiny plush :0
I also got this gorgeous pin for free with my pokeball plush order!! pokecenterloot are great honestly. And look at the art on the card aaaaa
I got pretty lucky with this tbh (well kind of, if you ignore the customs fees uugh.) I found it on ebay literally a couple of days after adding it to my wishlist which is nothing short of a miracle since the clothing available on pokemoncenter.com very very rarely appears on ebay where the seller is willing to post to the UK. Of course I didn't know about middleman services at this point but oh well ^^' Its a great quality hoodie and the small fits me perfectly, not too tight but not huge either!
and lastly some random bits. The bootie arcanine and pokecenter noctowl were from a bootsale app and have seen better days :'| someone seems to have drawn on arcanine's nose, presumably because the bootlegs rarely seem to have one. Noctowl's eyebrow/ear tufts need sewing back on properly and her wings seem to need the same. I think she is official though?? But anyway, the litten I got as a free plush as part of a promotion pokecenterloot had and the things in the bottom right corner are little stackable snack boxes I found in a supermarket on sale. They're super cute and feature evolution lines around the top tub (rowlet, litten, popplio, and pichu) and pokeballs around the bottom.
what I also wanted to post is some of the things I use to display my collection!
shoe storage things are your friend! These work so well for smaller plush, especially the one on the left :0 They save using floor or shelf space too
and this awesome little shelving unit I found in a supermarket :D it has places for hooks so it can be hung on a wall too. I think it's made for like pot plants or candles or something but it works so well for displaying smaller figures and my little plate.
