Return of the Magnets!
I recently checked livejournal on a whim and was really surprised and happy to see this community still alive and kicking! Almost a decade ago, I used to be pretty active here. After college I packed up all my collection and there it stayed until just recently. Now I'm in my own place so I thought I'd get all the magnets out of their box prison. My new pokemon shelves! (Sorry the lighting is awful haha)
I have a bunch of customs and things, but it has been literally a decade and I'm ashamed to say I don't have any record of the artists. The big happy Magnemite on the left is a HAT and I love it. I also love Ludicolo and Nosepass so they have a little mini collection, lol.
And the magnets! I barely remember the names of all these different types of toys. I have a binder full of TCG and random flats that I couldn't figure out how to display. I bought so many magnets!!! It's really fun to see them displayed kind of like I used to have them.
Recently I saw that there is an OFFICIAL and REAL and VERY GOOD Magnemite plush??? And also there might be a second one soon? I don't know what they're called. I've forgotten all the lingo, lmao. I can't really justify buying it right now, but just seeing it was very exciting. Pokemon merch collecting was a really fun hobby, I'm glad to see it's still going strong :D
