Good evening! I've got a few really great plush this past month, and I even got an amazing deal on one (thanks gamestop)!
Check it out below the cut ^ ^
(warning: picture heavy!)
First up is a surprise get, thanks to the awesome sale at gamestop. Primarina!
I had to drive a little farther out to find her, but I'm glad I did! I really like primarina, especially since she's a mermaid (as a kid i honestly used to think i'd turn into a mermaid when i grew up thanks to some mermaid movie lol). I just never planned on getting this plush because of its cost; seeing it on sale for $16 was a deal I couldn't pass up!
She's a bit dirty, but it's nothing I can't clean. She's so soft and large! There's so much detail on her-she has her lashes, a satin fabric for the stars, and she's posable! Her arms are fully articulated-however, the shoulders can't really support it that well and tend to flop down if you try to stick them straight out. Her head also can bend forward and back, but tends to flop if it's leaned to far one way. However, it's still really great and perfect for display!
Next up is the first ever Froslass pokecen plush, from the night parade promo!
Gen 4 holds a special place in my heart, and I especially love the ghosts of that gen so I was ecstatic to see that Froslass was finally getting a pokecen plush! From what i've seen, this is apparently the second plush made of it overall! Not only that, but the design is very unique.
The snow coat looks great, and is made out of a canvas-like material that makes it look kind of woven. The umbrella is a pokeball with the supports printed on the bottom, and the handle is very sturdy and not floppy. The most surprising thing was the fact that this plush is weighted! It has what feels like dense beans/balls at the bottom which make it possible to stand this plush on its own with a bit of work, which is really great as this would be difficult to stand otherwise. It gives a really nice heft to it as well.
The tush tag is blue, and the art on the hang tag is really pretty. If you're a froslass fan-go for this! It's an awesome plush!
Finally, here's another gen 4 ghostie, Spiritomb!
I love the pokedolls from 2007-2009, all the designs were so cute and the fluffy minky used on them is the best. I've been looking for this guy for a while, and finally managed to snag him on y!jp.
The detail on him is amazing-the embroidery is metallic which gives it a really nice sheen that highlights its spooky look. The odd keystone is fully embroidered as well-it's such a great plush! He's definitely one of my favorite pokedolls.
Thanks for reading!
