easter merch+other small gets!
Good morning! I've got a few really great gets that I kept forgetting to post, so here they are now ^ ^

Here's a little preview:
First up is the star of the easter promo, easter pika!
She's incredibly cute, and insanely soft. I wasn't expecting it to be so soft--it's the softest pokecen plush I've ever felt! If the easter cushion is made with the same material, then I need to get it because the softness is too great lol. She has a lot of nice detail on her: the flower crown has a green band underneath it, and looks really naturalistic. She even has a little flower on her tail! The only downside is that they're glued instead of stitched on. Otherwise, she's perfect! I really like the watercolor aesthetic of this year's, it looks great.
I honestly can't say whether or not I prefer this year's over last year's plush. The vibrant yellow of last year's was gorgeous, but the pattern and flower crown on this year's looks a lot better (as well as softer!). Both are really cute either way--I hope the pokecen continues doing these flower crown promos!
Last year I got just the mascot plush, and fell in love with it. But when I went to get the full size, it was already gone and the price up way too high. So I made sure to run and preorder both of the regular size plush this time around, and I can say it was 110% worth it :D
Next is easter eevee!
Just as cute as pikachu, all my comments are the same for her. I hope they continue to use more pokemon for this, because I would love to have a small flower crown pokemon army haha.
To wrap up the easter goods, the scrunchies!
I really love watercolor art, and this year's promo seemed to apply a little bit of that aesthetic to everything. These scrunchies are just gorgeous! They look like a flower when you wear them, and it looks really cute with a low bun. Each came with an adorable metal charm, so that was a cute bonus ^^
I actually picked up last year's right after I got this year's scrunchies; usually people were selling it for around $30+ which is way too much for a hair tie, so I never really gave it much thought. Surprisingly, I found one brand new on y!jp for only $8 so I snatched it up. Now I have the full easter scrunchie set lol
Finally, here's a few small gets:
I love shiny mimikyu, so I made sure to get this cute little clear postcard featuring the lil guy! Hopefully we see some more merch now that there's a shiny mimikyu in the anime (also, how does a ghost pokemon become a ghost? I thought they were already ghosts, so did that mimikyu double die or something? this is the real pokemon mystery)
Even though we dont get the coolest merch here in the US, at least we do get exclusive figurine TCG boxes! I love darkrai, so seeing an official figure of his awesome eggplant shiny was a great surprise for me. It's small and really well-made, and that pose looks really cool!
