Nintendo NYC Event and New Sales
Hello, everyone! For those in the US, Happy Thanksgiving! It sure has been a while since I posted here.
On the 17th, I took a bus to NYC for the Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon release at Nintendo NYC. I like attending the launch events for Pokemon, and I definitely had to do it for this one, being that Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the last 3DS main story games. I wanted to share some photos from the event!
They had an activity station set up where you could color a starter to get prizes! You were able to get: Pokkén Tournament pin featuring Decidueye, Pokkén Tournament bookmark, USUM art cards, USUM sticker sheet featuring Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings Necrozma and a Pikachu hat. I chose to color Rowlet, of course!
Staff also had a trivia contest. I think they were giving away packs of Poke Ball deck sleeves to the winners. I didn’t try to compete because I could barely speak due to laryngitis and had exhausted most of my (limited) speaking ability for the day. :(
Pikachu also showed up, which was great! I got a photo with him.
I purchased the Veteran Trainer’s Dual Pack of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. I wanted the art cards, and Nintendo NYC had nice giveaways. With the purchase of the games, you received a nice poster and two can badges!
All in all, it was a really nice, low key event. I’m glad I was able to just show up and not need a wristband or something like some of the other events hosted there.
Here’s everything I picked up at the event! I need to start Ultra Moon though. I haven’t had the time since purchasing it, sadly. I’m hoping to start today, but I have to reset for female Rowlet. So, that may take a while.
Also, I’m clearing out my closet again with some new sales items!
