Reintro and collection update!

After getting the time and appropriate weather, I wanted to take the time to share an update of my collection room, aka the Secret Base. I wanted to re-do my first post of my secret base for obvious reasons. So I took this oppertunity to make a reintro, and show an updated post of my collection, including the new arrivals!
Hello, my name is Maggie, and I'm 28 years old. I live in Massachusetts, and I've been collecting pokemon for over 7 years. I started collecting in June 2010 and joined here later that year. I want to be an animator, and I'm taking a break from college life to work for a while. I'm also working on my first animated project. Other then Pokemon, I collect Yo-kai Watch and Digimon. My Digimon collection is really small, but growing a bit, as my Yo-kai Watch collection has grown so much that it now has a display shelf in my own office. I also collect fish, so I have a small collection of fish plush around my room. :p
My pokemon collection used to be in my bedroom, but after cleaning some junk from the third floor, I was able to convert it into my collection room, to host guests. I can have 7 guests inside, compared to my bedroom which can only have 3. I now have only three pokedolls left to complete my collection which are Meowth, Clefairy, and Tufty Pichu. I'm biding my time to obtain them atm XD;
I mainly collect Pokedolls and Applause plush, but I also collect other pokemon, which are:
Rotomdex (Main), Mudkip (Side), Trubbish/Garbodor (main), Elgyem/Beheeyem (Main), Patrat/Watchog (side), Stunky/Skuntank, Furfrou (side), Pyroar (male only) (side) (I need to get merch of him). Thanks to Gen 7, I may include Toucannon and Bruxish as my side collection in the future... now if they could just release merch of them.
When I first started my collection, this is what it was back in 2007, and started collecting pokedolls seriosuly in 2010.
Now here's what my collection looks like now, which has gotten a room to itself, in the 3rd floor.
Now this is just a preview of what's to come... Let me give you an updated tour of the Secret Base!

Now we start the photo tour clockwise!
This is the place that I keep my Secret Base pokedolls, and keychain versions of them. I was able to find a spot for my Sun and Moon poster too!
My fav is definately mudkip of the whole set XD
This is where I keep my ippai figures.
- The eeveelutions have an outdoor park theme.
- The 3 sleeping sets all sleep and dream on clouds.
- The 2 pikachu sets have a classroom set, more like a pikapalooza.
- And the fairy set has them in a sparkling cave. I was inspired by Fern Gully for this theme.
The last shelf has manga, and the top has a pikachu island with a poster I got from work.

The chairs have my GIANT pikachu plush on it. I also have my blankets, pillows, and towels displayed on it.
Underneath are my sleeping fennekin and Mudkip plushies.
Next is everyones fav part of my collection (and my own too), my rare pokedoll/plushplush shelf!
Setting them up when I got the rising stairs for them wasn't easy.
In my closet door is the mini mudkip pokedoll.
I'm hoping to get a small table in the future, then these can be used as comfy cushions to sit on!
Now we begin in another corner of the secret base. Large plush are spread out here, such as Kyogre's, and the kuttari express Wailord.
Some pokedolls in my makeshift wodden basket, and the display case has my figures displayed there.
The rest of what's above the large plush. The coat rack displays hats, and GB cases, among other things.
Above the display case are my large Jakks figures and D-Arts figures too. Talking figures are up here too.
Even if he's overrated, I do adore the D-Arts Charizard.
- Top section has all mcDonald figures
- Second has large misc figures, and TCG are included as well.
- third has tomy figures and misc small ones too.
- Last shelf has every single applause plush ever released. These are what I wanted to complete first when I started collecting, since I grew up with these when I was a kid. They have a high nostalgia factor to me, so I could never part with them. I used to play with my former friends with these, and I searched furiously for them only finding them in Blockbuster and I Party.
The table which has a Crane game, and many assorted figures.
I have all the poke amiibos and Rumble U figures. My fav thing on here is the Pokedoll christmass tree. It's too cute!
Underneath, I have the full set of the mini pokedoll keychains, eeveelutions, and some change-to-pokeball plush in their own baskets.
These are mostly plush i get from work. A Toy factory brand overload XD; My co-workers just keep giving them to me.
Behind the toy factory plush pile are plushies on a cushion. These are ones that I like to much to be placed in a spot or have no room.
Shinies have one side of a cushion, while pikas have parts of it.

Beside the glass table are my Pokemon center brand and DX and Oversized pokedolls!
I wanted to keep this area organized by brand, though there are others unintentionally mixed in.
Pokemon Center plush are on this side. Fitting them in here was like a game of tetris xD;
This corner is where all of my DX Pokedolls and Oversized are. I'm not a fan of this size too much, since they take up a lot of room. My fav of this set are the mudkips, and Arceus. The only DX I'm looking for is the DX Shaymin Pokedoll, but I'll look for him at a time where I'm done with my invoices from my middleman.
Next are the pikachu corner, and this are the ones on the walls. I bought some hooks recently to put up the Little Tales sets. Clown Lucario Movie Pikachu is special, so he has a shelf all to himself.
The rest of the mostly Pikachu shelves. I didn't intend for this yellow/orange/red theme to happen.
Other pokemon plush with my manga below the pikachus. Applause KFC beanie set are on top, with the KFC hong kong evolving plush are displayed on the bottom. They're some of my favorites.
Mini pokedolls! They have a display shelf for themself.
I made it in wood shop in middle school, but this one was a mistake, but the best mistake I made since it helped me find a place to show these.
Random plush, MPC plushies, Hasbro brand, and Jakks pacific pokemon plush on the bottom... and overflowing on the floor... I'm debating on clearing doubles tbh.
Kid figures, Zukan, and pose figures.
I don't plan on obtaining other Zukans in the future, since I'm super happy with what I have now :)
My favs are the Mudkip line, Eeveelution-line, Pidgey-line, and the Buizel/Floatzel/manaphy/mantine-line diorama!
Below the Zukan table are more jakks and random mcDonalds figures.
The plush below are the full canvas set too! I wasn't even trying to get all the canvas neither. it just happened XD;
Eeveelution theme shelf! Not all my eeveelutions fit here ;_; I have more scattered throughout the secret base.
Legendary pokedolls, and books are below the eeveelution shelf.
I keep all the tags in the plastic container on the floor.

I keep my mokomoko plushies here and any TCG releated material. I still need to get the kalos starters, Psyduck, and slowpoke.
I have the special wedding set coming in.
I'm such an old fart. I even have the cassette soundtrack of the first movie and its packaging.
I even play it from time to time.
VHS and this is where I keep my kutakuta plush! I still have a way to go with them.
Above my DVds I have these large plush. No brand order in particular.

I watch a lot of animation, since that's my field that I want to work on in the future.

Top shelf were big pokemon plush that had no spot at first.
Mudkip and his evolutions had to get a spot for themselves <3 This is a side collection, since I'm not to fond of some mudkip plush.
Since I've started to grow fond of Rotomdex, he gets a shelf to himself too! I'm trying to get a lot of things with him, minus flats.
Other plush are on here XD different brands mixed in.

I got all of these pokeplush from work. (stop giving them to me hhhnnng I'm drowning in em.)
Mega Altaria hangs on top "flying." I've got posters, keychins hanging on the side of the bookshelf, and a peek of the last couple things in this tour!
Pokedolls! These are where I keep my 'common' ones. I even have the Pokemon Dolls here, since I'm not too fond of them tbh.
I do want the eeveelution Pokemon Dolls at some point however, since I like their redesign.
The bottom shelf have other large plush.
The last point of my tour is my bullitain board! Full of keychains, charms, stickers, pins, notes I get when I buy something, ect.

Rotomdex things in the boxes were little models, and they had a compartment in the back for the ramune flavored candy.
The cards can be put inside the slot to reveal their info.

The hat was a gift from a co-worker who quit so he could start college. He gave me a hat as a symbol of our friendship since I got him into yo-kai Watch and got him back into pokemon. I will cherish it forever!

I think it was someones deck, or a giveaway deck for the tournaments.
