♤Tomy Monocolle Get Review Time!♤
So. Back in early July, I had placed a pre-order for one of final starter evolution Z-move figures, and it arrived yesterday!
I wasn't completly sure as what to expect, so I erred on the side of caution and just got one, Primarina performing Oceanic Opretta.
Here is the packaging...
•I actually am not a fan of how it was utilized, with the inside print, not to mention the practicality of the box. Does it really need to be this large for a single figure? I'll just say I'm glad I recycle, and this thing would take up a lot more space than necessary. Alright, moving on...
• Pretty nice figure overall; I love the captured movement, not to mention the details. Unfortunately, this ends up working against it as well...
• Paint job got somewhat shoddy here. Not to mention an extra pink mark, difficult to tell if it's paint transfer during manufacturing or what:
▪FINAL VERDICT▪
It' an overall nice figure, but it's safe to say I wouldn't buy another anytime soon. The cost off-set was purely for the over-decorated packaging and the decorative stand. I actually hope that these Z move Tomys are discontinued, and just go back to the drawing board.
Did anyone else happen to get one of the Z move starters? If so, what are your thoughts?
