Welcome to my corner of Darkness! (Introduction)
Hello, you can call me Artha! I’m a college student living in Florida who has a passion for dark types. I don’t really know why I have a strong attraction to dark types, but I do know they are my favorite. But in general I think I just like Pokémon that have a sinister look. I am a 20 year old biology major who likes to run around in mangroves and poke at all the mollusk I find in Tampa Bay. I am also trying to improve my drawing skills, so I may inculde some of my pictures in my post.
I primary collect plushies, figures and items from the TCG, but sometimes I have things that I just think are cool. My collection does not have a main focus but it centers on Yveltal, Gengar, Zorura/Zoroark, and Midnight Lycanroc (midnight form just screams dark type to me so why not include him in the collection). I currently don’t have any Lycanroc items, but I hoping to change that as soon as more merchandise is released.
Now onto my collection!
Here is every figure I own. With most of them being amiibos and the battle action figure line. I also have a collection of pins that came from last year's mythical Pokemon promotion.
I also have the Jirachi and Genesect Mythical plush
I have a ton of Pokemon cards that I keep in a wooden briefcase. I just have too many cards to store in colletors tins. But here is a brief overview of my card collection. I have a ton of Yveltal cards because darkness decks had a great run in standard battling last year (and he is my favorite XD).
I also have the eevee and Pikachu plushies form build a bear. I was quite surprised last year when it was announced that Pokémon and Build a Bear were making a product together. But I am glad I pick them up because they are quality plush. If you’re on the fence about the Pokémon build a bear I highly recommend getting one because they are just too cute!
And here is my pride and joy! I have a custom Shiny Yveltal that was made by LRK-Creations. He is pretty darn big and takes up half of my bed, but he definitely keeps me warm at night!
Oh! What that in Yveltal’s fluff? It’s a little Zorua! I keep this little pokedoll in the fluff because it reminds me of the Zoroark movie. I thought it was cute how little Zorua was carried around in his mama’s fluff.
