Pokemon Day!
Hey, all! Today is Pokémon's 21st anniversary, and has been dubbed Pokémon Day! What you been doing anything interesting to celebrate?
It turns out Hot Topic is having a special sale on Pokémon items - buy one, get one for $1! Not sure how long it will last, so I will probably take advantage of it!
I also have one get I forgot to post about in my last post (which was specifically about Pokémon and food):
The Pokémon Cookbook! The book originally came out in Japan in 2009, so almost half of the recipes are based on Sinnoh Pokémon, but there’s some nice variety. I haven’t tried any of the recipes yet, but a lot of the reviews I’ve read seem pretty accurate from what I’ve read. The cookbook is well-written and clear, but recipes rely heavily on microwave cooking, you won’t find some ingredients outside of Asian supermarkets, and the recipes are more like food art than proper meals. Still a very cool item, though!
