Quick and dirty collection pick
Here is a quick rundown of my ralts line collection as I pack for winter break a la lordqua and Mega_Gardevoir.
I'll start by saying I love this line because it has a nice alien but familiar design that to me is very digimon like. Unlike many other pokes that very clearly have 1 or 2 things they are based on this line looks like it could be any of 10 or 11 unrelated concepts combined (e.g dancer, plant, angel, mantis, jelly fish, stabbing victim). While a lot of people always talk about how "hot" gardevoir is to me it gives a nice uncanny valley like impression of "something trying to look human and almost succeeding." So far, I have only collected the plushes because it's interesting to see how they deal with difficult features of the design (e.g. What do I do about gardeviors tiny legs that can't support its weight or ralts present but never seen eyes?) I'm happy to say I have almost all the plushes except the jakks throw poke ball figure which I'm still hoping for one day.

I got the shinies as soon I I saw them on eBay and I really like the color scheme though I wish the heart-horn was more red than orange to contrast the blue hair and the black and white body
The megas are nice but a little floppy, the thing about this line is they're so skiny and light (especially Kirlia and gardevoir) that they don't translate well to plushes I think. The Megas probably need the least support to stand in comparison to any other plushes I have
One of the things I always find interesting with gardevoir polishes is how they deal with the legs since it's basically a stick figure in a dress. The Megas gardevoir a are actually a stick figure with the big dress attached at the waist as a separate, sewn on piece
