At last! My scale figure of Cordelia is finally here!!! She's just so beautiful and perfect! Does anybody else here buy scale figures rather than nendoroids and figma? I also have Archer, but haven't opened him up yet.
Also, does anyone know much about those Play Arts Kai figures? Are they made by Square Enix? I'm considering collecting figures of my favorite Final Fantasy characters. I just watched all the cut scenes from FFXIII, which was almost 7 hours long :O
Who saw those E3 trailers for the newest games? God of War looks awesome! But I'm still more hyped for FFXV than anything else :D
Me me me! :D I collect scale figures! (and nendoroid...) I want Archer so badly!!! Your Cordelia figure is beautiful! Why they didn't do Chrom ;-; I mostly have 1/8 made by Alter, but I also have some by Kotobukiya and GSC :)
About Play Arts Kai, I used to own 2 (KH2 Sora and 3D Riku) but I sold them... I could not stand the super big and ugly joints >< and they don't really look good on display :/ they have this weird plastic thing to help them stand and it's not subtle.
I got Archer from YJ, for the same price as retail :D I also preordered a few Saber figures, so now I'm currently waiting on the Okita Souji version, the bride, and the Distant Avalon version. I can't wait for them!
Yeah, every time I look at those Play Arts Kai figures, those big joints really put me off. I don't know if I can get used to them, but I really want some big figures of Final Fantasy characters.
I am so Jelly ;-; I want Archer.... I LOVE Saber! But she has so many figures and so many version ! >< So I am sticking with "blue Saber/King Arthur Saber" :) I have the 1/7 triumphant excalibur, the 10th anniversary edition nendoroid and have on pre-order the Aniplex Deluxe Saber + the small Chara-Forme ^^ I also really want the motored cuirasier version!! Too many Saber!!! 😱
You can try and buy one to see if you like them or not :) we never know! They are quite easy to sell back if you really don't like them ^^ It's too bad that some characters don't get any decent figures other than the Play Arta Kai :( I really wanted some Kingdom Hearts figures...
Omg, I saw the Aniplex deluxe Saber! I want that LED crystal base!!! How did you pre-order yours btw? I wanted to do it on TOM, but they said that shipping it to me is not available😐 I'm going to pre-order that Shielder figure from Aniplex. Her shield is just huge and beautiful. And I might buy the 1/6 scale Fate/Zero Saber if I can find it near $100. Also looking at buying a Sinon and Asuna figure from SAO. So many choices 😵
Rather than the Play Arts Kai figures, I might try looking for the Masterpiece Arts figures for Cloud and Sephiroth. They're hell expensive, but they look so flawless!
I got mine from TOM. Surprisedly, they are quit good with sending exclusive items to Canada. I got her for $128 shipped after using all of my TOM points. Other than TOM I don't know where you can order her :/ the preorder period is now over... I can't believe I miss the opportunity to buy Archer 😭 He came out not too long ago too! And to think that he was in stock on amiami like a month ago... But yeah! So many choices! My figurine want list is huge as well haha!

I'll just wait until Saber is released and see if I can get it near the original price on Y!J like with Archer. There are several Archer figures on Y!J right now. A couple are on auction with cheaper starting prices than retail! Once my exams finish on Thursday, I am taking Archer out of his box and letting him join Cordelia.
Yes! Cloud and Sephiroth are at least 500 mm, so that's about double the size of most 1/8 scales I think... or at least with Cordelia and Archer. I want Lightning and Noctis in that size!
Ahhhh she looks so cool! My Cordelia's in the mail from Japan to here, so I'm waiting to get here. I collect (along with my partner) lots of scales. We usually get a giant box from AmiAmi each month with at least two or three we've preordered.
I have the Play Arts Kai figures for the Mass Effect characters. They're like giant action figures- so a little less detailed than some scales but you can pose them all kinds of cool ways because they have so many points of articulation.
E3 was full of lots of cool stuff this year. Even games I'm not normally interested in looked so cool!
I was hoping to get Saber/Okita Souji combined with Cordelia to save a little on shipping, but her figure is taking too long to be released and Cordelia's was already pushed back from April.
I'm seeing photos of Play Arts Kai figures, and they seem to be no where near as detailedas the scales honestly. I really would like to get into them to collect those FF characters, but those joints make them a little hard to like.
Yeah, like I've never played God of War before, so this was my first time seeing what it's about. I just really like Norse mythology stuff though.
