YJ HELP

Jun 16, 2016 12:49

I've looked at the pkmncollectors tutorial on yahoo japan auctions, and have gotten a bit of help before but i can't seem to understand how to do it well, which is preventing me to get some pokemon goods:c
Would anybody help me figure the shipping and fees and what not between From Japan and YJ? OR middleman for me??? q.q
Thank you

Unfortunately, you'll never know ALL of the fees until you've bought the items already :'/

The way FJ works, you buy an item, and pay the cost of the item, plus 200 yen, plus the system usage fees. That is charge 1. Charge 2, which includes postage from the seller to FJ, bank fees, and shipping to you all varies by seller and item.

I see, becasue there is a plush i want. So is it safe to add funds onto FROM JAPAN and bid from there and just pay and From japan will handle it?

Yup! Id say a safe amount is whatever your max bid is, plus 400-500 yen to cover initial fees. The minimum depisit is 500 yen, so you can always load more on for fees if you're a bit short, and then rfund what you don't use :)

Just bid, and you'll be all set!

Awesome! I heard that from japan can hold items for a bit to ship all the items you got together, but how do they do that? As in hpw will they know i bought other items and would like to save on shipping

I've used noppin as a middleman service for a few years now with no issues, but I will say the fees can be high. Hope that helps.

Thank you! I'll probably stay with from Japan for now just because I'm now familiar with that

The proxy service I've been using is called j-subculture, from what I know theyre the only proxy site that has no comission fee! I really like them, if you want to check them out.

You're welcome! There's still the handling fee that always seems to be 172 yen, but it's still a lot cheaper and less fee-ridden than other sites I've seen. :)

I love this post and all the comments! It helped with some questions I had too. :D

All I can help with is that the comm rules say people can't middleman for others with Japan deputy services like FromJapan. GA's are okay because they are for the whole community, not one person. I almost made that mistake once and wanted to help you out on that part. :)
