A New Collection Appears!
Done with finals, so that means collection update time~! When I first joined this community, I was amazed by the dedication people have for collecting specific Pokemon. Out of 700 different Pokemon, I couldn't imagine choosing just one.

IT'S ARCEUS!
So, I like ponies. And God Pony. It's a little ironic that I missed most of Gen 4 but I did watch the movie and I liked Arceus then. I wanted a nice figure but it was disappointing to find that most of the figures out there are really small, like around 1 to 3 inches.
Then I saw this beauty.
The 2009 Wakuwaku Kuji Lottery figure. (Thanks, Splash, for selling this to me!)
Shipping was a killer, and I was surprised at how big the box was when it arrived.
Gorgeous art on the left and right sides of the box.
This Arceus has a matte finish, feels like some sort of vinyl, and is really light. All four legs are moveable, and the head turns.
My only qualm is the gap at the neck joint...
... and the head pops right off! Oh no D:
My second get was the 2015 Lottery Figure.
This one is solid plastic, in a dynamic pose. It comes with a clear plastic stand. The good thing is that the stand is a crescent-shaped clip that wraps around the belly, so no ugly hole in the underside.
I didn't realize until after I received this in the mail- I got the shiny metallic version! Of course, I went online afterwards and bought the regular version because I need both.
Size comparison between the two lottery figures. The 2015 figure is about 6 inches in height.
Because Arceus has 18 plates so tracking down all those zukans, Tomys, chou, and (*gulp*) keshipokes will really be an interesting journey. And it's so exciting when I open up these packages and see all these Arceuses (Arceii?).
Here's my collection so far, all lined up.
(Salamence646 gave my collection quite a jump start. I bought all these small figures from their sale!)
I'm still waiting for a few things in the mail- the Arceus Jakks figure, a few Arceus chou's, the regular lottery figure that I hope doesn't get lost in the mail during the holiday shipping madness...
