Would getting her shipped without the packaging reduce much of the cost? I was planning on opening it anyway. And thank you for the thorough details about the shipping.
I can send her in a smaller padded envelope by taking her out of the packaging, so that would reduce the shipping supplies to $1.00. Also, the packaging weighed more than I thought it would, so it took the shipping down to $3.00.
