The first one is the official douga that'd be scanned in for digital inking and colouring for the final episode; it's a pan shot but only the tail was shown in-frame of this specific pan in the final render! If this were back in traditional animation days this'd be what was transferred or xeroxed onto the cel for lines to then be painted.





The others are genga, which are the rougher side of animation but are done by the key animator for the episode/film as a guideline to the animation team for the final douga. Rough genga like this are harder to find usually because they're so often scrapped since they're not used for final things, especially if they've scanned them to use for reference on settei for attack sheets and the likes.

I'm so happy I have these guys. I've got more Pokemon douga/genga and even film slides of composite shots done during the 'filming' process that I haven't scanned yet, but these Ducks are super special to me (fav. from Gen V asides from Pidove!). And very relevant to this week's topic :D
