I actually wanted to buy some Toothless and Stitch merch as well actually. I would just get one plush of each first, but not sure which ones. Maybe I'll just stick to character keys :P

What was your first piece of merchandise when you started collecting? First piece of Pokemon merch would have to be my Latias Pokedoll I got as a kid! The first thing I got when I "officially" started collecting was a set of the ultra-cute Pokemon Mate notebooks.
Did you decide later on to change the focus of your collection? If so, why? At first I really wanted to have a complete Torchic Collection, but then I switched over to Pokedolls since I realized that there were a lot of Pokemon that I really liked besides Torchic, and I didn't want to neglect them.
If your city was about to face a major disaster (earthquake, tsunami, etc), how would you try to save your collection? If you could only save one piece of merch, which would it be? Oh my! Well, most of my collection is stored in a plastic storage box right now, so I could easily grab that and run. If I was limited to one piece of merch, it'd have to be my Latias Pokedoll. I have so many good memories with that doll.

This is difficult, because I can't remember when I consciously decided to start collecting, because I've always loved buying/receiving Poke-merch. Pikachu collections are a real challenge! There's just so many that you can leave yourself broke within a week or a month if you're not careful o.O so yeah, it's quite dangerous if it gets out of control.
Those are some awesome Dinosaur model photos! They almost look like they're alive! I'm betting that you're a huge Jurassic Park and Land Before Time fan?
Oh yeah, I can't imagine if I were a completionist trying to collect Pikachu! You really have to be picky or you can easily get overrun with electric mice. xD
I am a big JP fan (and have a large amount of JP toys and random merch!), but I wouldn't look to them for accurate representations of dinosaurs, lol. They're definitely more Hollywood monsters, especially Jurassic World- but still a very fun movie!
I also adore the first Land Before Time, but I never was interested in the other films. Again, not very dinosaur-accurate, but super nostalgic and has a very sweet, emotional story. ;w;

One goal I'll probably never get around to doing is getting every pin from TWEWY and displaying them. I'd have to get almost all of them custom made.
For Noibat and Mega Mawile I decided to stop buying cameo merchandise which really trimmed down the amount of items I needed to find. I imagine Noibat will be receiving quite a bit of stuff in the future due to the anime so that one might pick back up again. I also forgot about one collection; the movie medals. I only need one more to complete that.
