Collection Update part 2 - Bluebird Time!
So as well as collecting Absol, I also collect Articuno and have a side collection of Altaria and Swablu non-flats! :) I'm such a sucker for that shade of blue haha! XD I've also always loved birds, so these guys were the perfect Pokemon for me to collect on the side! :) Articuno was meant to be a side collection haha but I've found so much cool merch that it's become a main collection of its own! :) Unlike with collecting Absol, collecting Articunos is so chilled. Also, as there isn't really a complete collection site (like there is for Absol) it's a pleasant surprise when new pieces of merch come up for sale! :) So yes I'm very excited to finally show you all my Articuno collection! :)
I'll start with some custom art that sellers have been kind enough to include with my purchases! :) I'm amazed at how talented everyone is and extremely jealous haha! Wish I could draw as well! :)
Here we have some pages from books, calenders and manga! :) Thanks to mercurrix for taking the time to cut up all the manga, and to stalkingsuicune for including the page in the top right as a surprise freebie with my stamp! :)
More flats - various cards this time. My favourite is the 'Articuno Attacks' card above the monopoly cards! :) Articuno's beautiful appearance in the second Pokemon movie is what made me love it so much! :)
Here are all my Articuno stickers! :) Does Articuno have pan stickers? I've never seen any but maybe they're just really rare?
Last flats I promise! XD Various Articuno pogs and a beautiful silver coin in a case that I bought from awlott006 along with quite a few other cool and unusual items! :)
Here's some random Articuno items! :) I was very happy to get the badge in the middle! :) Saw one on Y!J a while ago but didn't bid on it and the seller never relisted it again! :/ Then I saw them going for ridiculous prices on eBay and well we all know how rare can badges can be! XD Luckily Brian on Pokevault decided to break up his complete set of 151 badges to sell, so I was able to get it from there! :) Also love the tiny gold keshimon and the legendary bird trio pin badge! :)
Another random assortment of Articuno items now: some iron-on patches, a dice, a really snazzy pencil, a box which I think contains some kind of Japanese dice game (?) and a tcg tin with stickers that I've had for a very long time and only now have the excuse to display haha! XD
Here are my Articuno keyrings! :) The chubby one in the top left isn't an official item I don't think, but I love how weird and interesting it is! :) It even squeaks when you squeeze it haha! :) Thanks to aki199257 for bringing it to my attention and then selling it to me! :)

XD I think the two clear ones at the front are part of the full colour stadium collection, but I've never quite understood what that is haha! XD I assume there's more Articunos to collect from it though! XD

XD The tall figure I found on Y!J but I'm not sure what it is as there's nothing written on it! :/ It has a really rubbery feel to it though! :)
My Articuno plush! :D Man... for such a beautiful Pokemon, Articuno's plush sure are... interesting! :/ The one on the left is the finger puppet (also from awlott006) and the one on the right is the Burger King plush. I do have the Banpresto plush on the way (and will hopefully own the bell plush soon! XD) but I just found out today that Articuno actually has a fifth plush: the tiny Tomy mascot plush! XD Not even sure what this looks like so yeah. Would it really kill the Pokemon company to make an Articuno pokedoll? Legendary bird pokedolls would be awesome! XD I also have a beautiful custom plush on its way to me as well but that will be something for another post haha! ;)
The Hasbro Articuno figure and the two Articuno zukans. I have to take the Hasbro's tail off when I display it because it takes up so much room! XD The zukans are beautiful figures (especially the flying one) but the other zukan sadly doesn't have its original base! :/ No matter though! :) I kind of like it being slightly suspended like it is! :)
My Articuno kids figures! :D Was very fortunate to get the clear kid as one of my first Articuno gets, thanks to pkmnexcavation for selling it to me! :D I do believe I have all of them except for the clear attack kid, but thanks to a link sent to me by nadoki65 I managed to win a lot with the clear attack kid in, which means I've completed my first set of kids figures! :D Now I just need clear attack Absol, clear attack Altaria and clear Swablu haha (lol why is it the attack kids that are always hardest to find! XD). I know that the Zapdos and Moltres kids have figures that are of them lying flat with their wings spread, so I'm worried that Articuno may have one in a similar style that I've completely overlooked! XD Never seen a photo though so I'm hoping not! :)
I've never actually played Pokemon Conquest, but I know Articuno is featured heavily in it so I couldn't resist these beautiful pieces of merchandise! :) A massive thanks to absol for middlemanning for me so that I could buy the stunning figure you see in the middle.
Look at it! It's so amazing! :D This figure was super MIP (had never been constructed) and even came with the exclusive, not for sale poster that you can see rolled up in the background. Haven't opened the poster yet and don't plan to until I actually have space for it! :)
And finally, my beautiful Articuno DX figure (with pokedoll tag)! :3 This figure was so close to becoming my Articuno grail! XD I lost out on one on Y!J a while ago and thought it was the end of the world, but then they started popping up everywhere! XD With the help of mercurrix and yveltal, I was eventually able to find this beauty for an amazing price on eBay! :) I even managed to grab the Moltres version as well from the same seller! :)

Here are my Swablu babies! :) I love the tiny figure of Swablu and Goomy all tucked up and sleeping in the fluffy cloud! :3 Also very happy to own the Retsuden stamp, even though it's dried up and the picture is a little crinkled at the top! :/ Of course I have the new Swablu secret base pokedoll and the pokedoll charm on the way! :) So glad they made that plush haha! XD

The Swablu Pokemon time clear file (forgot to include it with my other Swablu items! XD) and an unopened box of wipes. The wipes just randomly appeared on Pokevault one day, so of course I bought them immediately because I love that adorable art work! :) Don't know too much about them though! Are they from a specific promotion or were several boxes released with different artwork?
My Altaria kids! :) As I said earlier only need the clear attack kid to complete the set! :)
Finally, my Altaria plushes! :) Altaria plushes are the best they're so fuzzy and fluffy and soft! :) I have the Banpresto Altaria plush on the way, but I am still searching for the elusive pokedoll! :) It's definitely my Altaria grail haha! :)

The Hasbro Articuno figure and the two Articuno zukans. I have to take the Hasbro's tail off when I display it because it takes up so much room!
