3rd anniversary and re-introduction
Hi everyone! It's been so long since my last post... over a year actually (O_O). I even completely missed my 2nd anniversary! But I'm not going to miss the 3rd one, especially because it's been an awesome start of a week for my collection. My actual anniversary is at the start of june, but I can't wait to share my latest get and it's close enough, so this should count!
Most people here probably don't know me so let's start with a little introduction. Hello, I'm Dialny and have been part of this community since 2012. I'm from Finland and have loved Pokemon since the RBY days. I had a little drop in interest around the 3rd gen, but the 4th pulled me back with it's WiFi trading and PokeRadar shiny hunting. Even if I'm not as active hunter as I used to be (my record is 7 shinies in a month. And no, they were not with the radar or the charm), I'm still looking for them in the games.
And in real life. My main collections are Shiny Pokemon, Eevee, Umbreon and Yanma, with Canvas plushes and VS cards as my side collections. There are tons of other Pokemon and merchandise lines I would love to collect, but I'm struggling with the room as they are so I'm trying to stay focused! If I would have a full room for collections and a lot of money, I would also collect Espeon (officially), Lilligant, Lapras, Lati@s, Raichu, Absol, the lines of Vulpix, Butterfree, Shinx and Amaura, the lake trio, N, Zukan, Megabloks and Kaiyodo figures. But since I don't, I'll just look at other people's collections in awe.
So I mentioned how this week had a great start. On Monday I got a package from froakie. It would have been a plush worth mentioning even in normal circumstances but now... it's the plush that'll complete a part of my collection!
Yes, the shiny Raikou PokeDoll, MWT no less. I love it so so much! The yellow mane looks great and it's in perfect condition! As a nice surprise I even got a short lesson of its history from yellow_fr3ak, who apparently also owned it at one point.
And thanks to this arrival, my shiny Plush collection is now complete! (As complete as I want it to be... I'm not after every red Genesect. There's just too many of them, and I'm not a fan)
Look at them in all their sparkling glory! The Unova starters were easily the hardest ones to get and probably my favorites, especially Snivy (even though the giant Magikarp is literally a big rival... It's perfect size for hugs!)

The Kids section is also complete... as far as I know. I've not followed this community enough, so if they've released some new ones lately, I wouldn't know.
Charms (I'm pretty sure I have all of them too)
This is the part I should really focus on next. I've been painting Tomys (and booties of rare figures) of my ingame shinies and I have at least 50 more waiting to be painted, but I've not painted anything in over a year! Ugh... I need to find the inspiration again. I still really like the ones I have though.
On the buying side, I guess I should focus on these battrios and Hasbro figures next. (Hello again, Raikou~<3)
Let's move on to the normal Pokemon. Next in line is my favorite Pokemon, Eevee.

This is probably a collection that I can't ever call completed. There's just too many Eevees, so I can't even dream of owning them all. I'm just buying those I really like for one reason or another. But then again even if I might think I don't want some figure or plush now, i might want it after a month or two. And there might also be some very old great items I'm not aware of. So yeah... it's a tricky collection, but I love it nonetheless. So much cuteness!
Since it was already briefly in the first Eevee picture, here's a closer look of my Yanma collection.
This is almost everything that has been released of the cute dragonfly. I'm only missing the swing charm (It's the only item that has ever gone missing while shipping) and my holy grail, the Jakks Throw Pokeball plush, which was never officially released. If there is something else, I don't know about it.
Let's move on to the little cabinet!
Here's my last main collection, Umbreon (with Espeon buddies here and there)
I'm sure I've missed a bunch of items this past year. And I'm quite hyped for the Eeveelution Pokemon Time campaign. (I'm dreaming of Umbreon PT plush... <3) I'm a bit more completionist with Umbreon than with Eevee, at least with items and art that is only about Umbreon (sometimes with Espeon)
And for last I have the Canvas collection.
These are just so cute and detailed plushes. And since they are so small, easy to display as well. I really like that I can have a collection with a lot of different Pokemon.
Although... Maybe I've just missed them, but have they stopped making new Canvas plushes? I don't think I've seen any of the 6th gen Pokemon in Canvas form.
Well that's about it for my collections. I have some plushes and figures around the room, but they're not part of any collection so I'm not going to include them.
