Wynaut made a new friend :)
I recently got some lovely figures and a plush from splash. Wynaut has a new friend :D
First, I got two Uxie figures. These Psychic Pokemon can keep the Wynaut company (and perhaps teach them to be calm and quiet? hehe). They're meditating at the moment :)
Next, more Psychic types - Bronzong and Bronzor. They're sitting among the stones at the moment.
I love ancient Chinese bells. During college, I did a report on the bronze bell set held at the Sackler Freer Galleries of Art in Washington, DC. I accidentally set off the alarm during my visit... I was leaning in to see the pattern on the bells and my nose must have set off a laser alarm. (Or maybe Bronzong was just saying hello? :3) In any case, a guard came and checked on the room. I think I was the only one in the room and the alarm stopped when I stood back up straight. oops! Asian bronze bells are so beautiful and mysterious, so I was happy to add this Bronzor/Bronzong zukan set to my collection.
Also, I got a few new grass type figures of Virizion and Chespin. The leafy crew is so pretty :)
Last but not least, I got a new plush - Yamask! Wynaut is so happy to meet him ^_^ Yamask has been pretty shy, but I hope he'll warm up to his New home soon :)
Along with all of these, splash included a beautiful paper crane. It's sitting near the door so I can see it when I come and go. Thanks so much :)
Yamask has really been growing on me :) He reminds me of the ancient history, cultures, and languages of Mesopotamia. He also reminds me of Japanese Noh theater, which is such a beautiful art. I'd like to get a few Yamask figures - does anyone have any that they could sell me? Thanks ^_^
