Sales & Update!
Happy Thursday! I am back this week with some more sales and an update. Most of the things in this post are all new, including more unlisted stuff from Japan but I've also included old stock that I haven't listed for over a year. Come check it out - lots of Eeveelution amadas, amadas in general, stationary, ramen stickers, and some miscellaneous figures/coins! The sales banner below is just a small menagerie of some of the new flats in this post, but there are also some neat clearfiles and pencilboards not pictured in the banner with adorable unique art of various third gen Pokemon (just in time for R/S re-releases)!

Next up, a very special update! I wouldn't exactly call it a "grail", but it's definitely something I've been on the hunt for for a few years now, and I'm sure most of you guys know how rare this little guy is. :D
I was never able to find one in good enough condition or in a reasonable price range, but I got pretty lucky after connecting with an older member of the community a few weeks back who agreed to sell him to me!
I took some beautiful photos of Natu in my lightbox with my new backdrop. :D
The colors are so vibrant and pretty in person! :D
Did I also mention that the fabric of the doll is still extremely soft, just as it was when it was brand new?
I'm sure a lot of plush collectors are well aware of the fact that it's very, very hard to come by a doll made ~8 years ago with the fabric still in like-new condition, especially with things like velboa where it's really obvious when the doll is "loved" or in used condition. I am pretty picky with stuff like that, and don't really like the look of "old" dolls, so I feel exceptionally lucky for finding one in tip top shape like this!
I sort of have a feeling that if I waited long enough without finding one, I may have just settled for a beat up version of it but thankfully I was able to hunt one down before getting that desperate. :P
Side view! So much pudge. The body looks like a little pea, with tiny wings - I can't stop staring and smiling inside!!
This has got to be one of the cutest pokedolls of all time. ;___;
Butt view feat. tail feathers! This doll is just so cute from every angle. ;o;
The only downside is that its' hang tag came with a couple small creases in it, but I'm thankful to have found one with a hang tag attached at all!

Next up are a few more gets for my psychic plush collection (along with some things from the recent "Wanted" promo)!
I did a trade with baconscreation a couple weeks back, and she sent me two beautiful plush! Wobbuffet is my first plushplush, and I'm a really big fan of the fabric - the fibers are short, but very smooth, and I do prefer it to minky/velboa for some plush (like Wobbuffet!) because it seems more fitting with the texture of their "skin".
Metagross is something I've been after for a while now, but I'm still on the search for one with a mint hang tag. The velboa on this one is surprisingly still soft and new looking though, considering it came out a long time ago!
I won all of these guys myself (plus all the others I sold last month!) while I was in Japan fresh out of the UFO catcher machines! It was pretty awesome to win prizes for myself during the release of these guys rather than having to hunt them down months later on Y!J. Gardevoir is missing from this set, but I just wasn't that impressed with her type-plush despite it being her first official doll. My favourite out of all of them is definitely Jynx, but I'm also excited to see Malamar in this set (first official plush!) and of course, another Slowpoke plush to add to the pile. :D
THIS TIN. I got this over a year (or two?) ago, and I don't even remember if I've shown it off. Maybe I have, but here it is anyway - it took at least three years of constant hunting on Y!J to track it down, but I have one at last (in great shape, too!). :D
THIS DELPHOX!! It is by far one of my favourite new pokedolls! I know that some people haven't been all that fond of some of the new designs, but this one captures him (I say this because 7:1 M:F ratio) so perfectly. It actually strikes me as less "Pokedoll" than usual, since the head (minus the ears) isn't quite as oversized, but I'm a big fan of the proportions! This is probably the first final start evo pokedoll that I fell in love with, because I can't think of any others that really stood out to me over the years. I was only ever after one plush of Delphox, and am now kind of regretting purchasing the PC version when I was in Japan (it was more expensive and less cute!), but I am nevertheless glad that this one ended up being released. :D
Wanted promo plush including the Espurr line mascots and Pokepuff Espurr plush! Little Espurr is definitely my favourite out of all the mascots, and they did end up being a little bigger than I expected, but are still very cute! I wish I had the PC plush to compare them to, but from photos that I saw online, they appeared to be somewhat "flat" so I ended up not purchasing them. I do have the big size Meowstics on the way though, which I am very much looking forward to! There are just so many things about this promo that I love, but I made sure to limit my order to just a few of my favourite things. <3
I think I'm at the point of collecting where I am way pickier than I used to be, and am generally able to gauge what I'll lose interest in after a couple months, and which pieces will remain a staple in my collection for years to come.
This towel won me over with the promo picture! Adorable print, and super soft - I can see it being a good 3DS screen cleaner! But it's just a little bit too big to keep in my 3DS case so I'll probably just end up folding it in my bag.
You can't really see it in the photos, but one criticism I have of this towel is that the way that it was dyed; if you brush your finger against the nap of the fabric, you can see that it's missing a bit of color on the other side, but overall it's not a dealbreaker for me, I'm still quite content with this purchase. :)

Next to the plush, this is probably my favourite piece from this promo - it's definitely a good size for a mug and a sturdy piece of kitchenware, I'm already drinking tea out of it. :D
It came with a cute box too that I forgot to take a picture of (storing flats in there for now), I'd really recommend it.
The inside is lined with this Espurr and Meowstic pattern too, which I wasn't expecting! <3
If you look closely at the handle, you'll notice there are little stars! Such detailing.
Pokemon With You Pins! I saw these at the PC and just had to pick them up.

I wish I had the PC plush to compare them to, but from photos that I saw online, they appeared to be somewhat "flat" so I ended up not purchasing them. I do have the big size Meowstics on the way though, which I am very much looking forward to! There are just so many things about this promo that I love, but I made sure to limit my order to just a few of my favourite things. <3
I think I'm at the point of collecting where I am way pickier than I used to be, and am generally able to gauge what I'll lose interest in after a couple months, and which pieces will remain a staple in my collection for years to come.
This towel won me over with the promo picture! Adorable print, and super soft - I can see it being a good 3DS screen cleaner! But it's just a little bit too big to keep in my 3DS case so I'll probably just end up folding it in my bag.
You can't really see it in the photos, but one criticism I have of this towel is that the way that it was dyed; if you brush your finger against the nap of the fabric, you can see that it's missing a bit of color on the other side, but overall it's not a dealbreaker for me, I'm still quite content with this purchase. :)

I also got this cookie tin! I have a huge soft spot for tins, and can always find ways to occupy them.

.. And the Espurr-line cookies that came inside! Pokemon Center cookies never last long after I open the tins, but I resisted temptation this time and saved one of each. :P
Next to the plush, this is probably my favourite piece from this promo - it's definitely a good size for a mug and a sturdy piece of kitchenware, I'm already drinking tea out of it. :D
It came with a cute box too that I forgot to take a picture of (storing flats in there for now), I'd really recommend it.
The inside is lined with this Espurr and Meowstic pattern too, which I wasn't expecting! <3
If you look closely at the handle, you'll notice there are little stars! Such detailing.
Pokemon With You Pins! I saw these at the PC and just had to pick them up.
Here's a group shot of all the new dolls I received (somewhat) recently! I wanted to photograph them with the rest of my collection, but I'm going to purchase more shelving and organize everything before I show it all off (at the moment, it's just a big mountain of plush on top of a dresser which no one needs to see)!
I also thought I'd mention quickly that anything from my previous "Flat Sales from Japan" entry can be combined with orders in this post! There are still plenty of leftovers, and I'm open to offers on everything there, so don't be shy to ask. :)
