Re-Introduction
Hi guys! It's been a long time since I regularly checked this site, but know I'm picking up on it again. I thought it would be appropriate to do a re-introduction.
My username is michl_ba. Forgive me if my formatting is off, it's been awhile. Enjoy!
I joined pkmncollectors back in 2008 when Diamond and Pearl was the craze. I especially loved that generation as it was the first time I witnessed the reveal of a new generation. I started playing Pokemon when Ruby and Sapphire already came out, so it was a new experience with DP: all the suspense and drama with each new Pokemon revealed was enthralling. I'm having the same sentiments with XY. When 2009 hit and with the debut of "Pokemon Giratina and The Sky Warrior," I became slightly obsessed with Giratina and nabbed all items of it that I fancied.
From then on, I traded, sold and bought Pokemon collectibles. But my main collection is Zukans. Now I just focus on ZUKANS, ZUKANS, ZUKANS. Michl_ba go kookoo for ZUKANS.
Here's my bin of zukans (more than 18 Gallons):
Never had a proper display for them, so I store them in bins. Helps me keep track of them, plus it prevents me from losing pieces.
First zukan set I got was the whole DP06 set with Rhyperior and Darkrai. I got it from Ebay thinking they were Tomy figures. I fell in love with assembling them. From then on collected zukans.
Here is what i had back then when I first posted my collection in 2009.
Now I have more than I know what to do with them. I got Lugia, Ho-oh, Wailord, all of the DP/BW line, all the movie zukans, all starters except for Charizard line and Blaziken Line. Haven't gotten Gyarados or the original eevee set yet.
To showcase some of zukans, I present you photos of when I was sailing.
So I'm on a boat. Then BAM!
It was huge. It was a Wailord. Ain't that lucky for me to see one.
Then came two magnificent and graceful creatures.
I sent out Samurott to use surf. Taking photos on top on my Samurott like a boss.
In the water, i took this picture of 'dem Lapras. Then strange things started happening.
A school of kingdra and seadra appeared.
Then saw a Swampert, the Acient Pokemon Omastar and Mantine and Mantyke in the distance. Odd. Then something special happened.
Manaphy and Wailmer action with a Speal up in front. Then a roar.
Manaphy jumped off.
Sharp teeth.
It was a Kyogre. All these rare pokemon. Now it started making sense. Either Pokemon were running away or leading Kyogre.
Anyways got dried up with the help of my ninetales and ended the night surprised and excited.
