Some Tomy figure gets
I haven't made a post here for a while now. Here are some new additions to my Tomy figure collection as well as some pictures of the packaging the new US release figures come in. Pictures Under the cut.
Here they are, the ones in the back were a Christmas present I'm pretty sure I never posted. The ones in the front are recent buys from target and toys r us. I'm pretty sure they are identical to the ones sold in Japan, but correct me if I'm wrong. Its kind of interesting seeing a line of toys that were discontinued here about I think 10+ years ago? on the shelves again. I know they were distributed under Hasbro then, and had quite different packaging, but the figures themselves are pretty much the same exact thing.
Here are some pictures of the packaging. I like that they are kind of shaped like a stage. I think it would be interesting to make a scene in one of them with clay figures or paper cutouts and maybe tape a small battery operated light to the top to illuminate the scene. I might try this if I'm feeling crafty one day.
I'll add my turnaround pictures of all of these to their respective post in my journal as soon as I feel like messing with html. I really wish I hadn't made the entire turnarounds post with tables :(

It's an interesting site I found in a google search a while back. A nice place to keep an orderly photo documentation of your collection.
