The Talking Emonga, it is pretty much 1:1 and my FAVORITE so far. That or the Pokedoll one, it's small but ADORABLE! The 1:1 from the Pokemon Center is a grail for me though, it's like the only one I don't have yet.
Really? I saw it at Epcot last month and thought it was super derpy and inaccurate. I didn't like it at all lmao. I wonder why Tomy didn't ever make a 10-11 inch one...
They actually do have the 1:1 Emolga at Epcott and Nintendo World now (unless there are two different versions that I'm unaware of?). The tag is labeled "Life size" on the side. I picked up an Emolga for somebody during my pickups before, and recently picked up the minccino and pikachu too. ^^
Oh, I saw it alright. But as soon as I turned it to see the face... I just felt really unconvinced by it. Maybe I should have gotten it anyway considering the prices are so inflated online. :P
Yeah, I am not an Emolga collector, I collect 1:1 plush though so I pay attention to those. I'm pretty sure it's the proportions on the face that are making it looks so odd to you (size of the eyes vs mouth vs placement on the face). I noticed that the proportions on the BW 1:1 plush have been a little.. different compared to their other plush.

Yeah, the prices for the BW 1:1 plush are ridiculous online! They still have them priced that way because they're the Japanese releases I think. Those were soo pricey before, and now that they're releasing them in the US people aren't really getting the hint that they'll have to lower their prices now. Same thing happened with the pokedolls like Reshiram, Zekrom, and the starter evolutions. They were still listed for like $80 each online while I was doing pickups for $25 XDD
Yes, yes! There's just something really odd about it. Like I said, I think the talky one is the right choice for me.
As for the prices, I agree completely. I was at Epcot last month and was surprised to see how cheap the oversized pokedolls were. I ended up getting myself a Reshiram and a Keldeo. 1/1 were out of the question because of how odd they looked. $35 was definitely tempting, though.
I don't think there's any 1:1 worse than Meowth's face though... >.>;;
Yep! I'm slowly getting myself one or two each time I go to NW now. I have reshiram, zekrom, and serperior so far. I have the 1:1 Pikachu from there too, and eventually need to get the others.. XD But ugh the prices on Black and White Kyurem kill. They're the same price as the 1:1 and it's just painful to spend that much on shelf price of one pokedoll. >.>;
I'm doing the same! I definitely want to get myself a Zekrom to sit with my Reshiram. Not sure about the Kyruems, though. My wallet screams every time I see them.
In store, they are $29.99 plus tax (at Nintendo World anyways; I think Epcott is a little more). Whenever I got to NW I usually do pickups for $45 plus shipping
