I feel a little shy asking as it's a bit of a long shot, but I thought I'd ask anyway (since it never ever hurts to ask :). I'm wondering if a really kind person might be able to try and nab me something on Y!J that finishes in a few hours?

Naturally I would of course do it myself, but my SMJ account isn't authorised yet and I can't ;_; I do have ( Read more... )

Wow, you're so lucky! (about the Raikou I mean) :D

If you don't mind me asking, are you in the U.S. by any chance? I've always wondered if it's possible to get zukans here in the states, cuz apparently they don't sell kids here =\

I felt really lucky :D We have a chou-getto machine in a shop I visit on my way to a tv studio every fortnight, and I've been trying without any luck to get the Giratina or Cresselia, so it was a real happy to get something awesome out of the mystery capsule :D I saw the pictures of the legendaries on the box but I didn't really think I'd get one, so I was really happy :D

I'll be buying more though, so if I get any doubles, I'll probably sell them on here if I'm allowed :D

I'm actually in Australia! Which is even more surprising, because we really do get bugger-all Pokemon stuff out here on the best of days nowadays (at least here in Sydney, our Jakks Pacific D/P line toys can best be described as 'Leftovers'), so it was a bit of a shock to find zukans in a department store D:

Oh that's nice. Wow, Australia, that's pretty far away. I didn't even know people there even liked pokemon, haha. That's cool though.

There are places in the states that sell kids. :) Dunno about zukans--wish I knew--but kids, yes. ^^ I like traveling out to Little Tokyo in Los Angeles to get Poke kids. :3

Oh really? Urk, if only that weren't so far away...But what I meant was, they sell kids and stuff in Japan and Europe like the JakksPacific pokemon stuff here in the U.S. right? Cuz they're just about everywhere, as opposed only in large cities with Little Tokyos or Chinatowns, etc. Lol, I hope that made sense. XD

Oh, yea, I agree. I'm UBER jealous of the UK ONLY Pokemon items. Especially the kids in the 5-pack in AU. ;_; It's so expensive to buy from AU cuz of the currency rates. Are there any US specific items? o_o I don't think I've ever heard of any. Japan, Spain, AU, and the UK are places I've heard of with limited Poke items only available in said locations.

But, yea, I don't make it too much of a regular thing to travel out to Little Tokyo. I end up spending money, after all. XD; Thank goodness for the Metro Rail, though. :3 I don't have to drive all the way out to L.A. to get Poke goods. :)

What state do you live in, btw?

Wow, those actually are Kids? I thought they resembled them but I shrugged them off as look-alikes since their packaging is similar to the Jakks figures O: *has learned something new and dangerous XD*

As far as I know, anything 'store-specific', such as the Target 10th Anniversary figures, and the TRU Jumbo Dialga/Palkia are US-only, or US/UK-only. Our local Target hasn't had Pokemon items at all for months as it is D: I plan to make a trip to the TRU some time this week so I can double-check about the D/P figures, since it seems we've just recently received the D/P lines out here, but we've not had the store-exclusive figures here before and I'm pretty sure we still don't get them.

You guys also get Pokemon hand-outs, like Darkrai just recently :D We get them extremely rarely; a store chain had Manaphy this year as an Easter promotion, however, so maybe we're finally getting into gear with heck, the rest of the world XD I could very likely be wrong, but I think the last hand-out here before Manaphy was the R/B/Y Mew ( ... )

OHH, I completely forgot about the Target exclusive stuff, but that's about it I guess as to US only items, it's kinda sad.

but YES! I like the events, guess I kinda took them for granted. Aw, maybe in the future hopefully? =]

You can still get Deoxys as a download!!! This weekend, Gamestop is giving them out! ^__^ I got mine yesterday.

Yup, those are most definitely kids. Get them! XD

Oh yea... perhaps Target and TRU has a few US only items...? *shrugs* Were you talking about the jumbo Dialga/Palkia figures or plush? As far as Southern Califirnia goes, we haven't gotten the huge plushes to my utter dismay. ;_; I've always wanted a big Dialga, but the import is always around $60 and I don't wanna spend that much on one plush. ^^;

Yea, but the hand-out downloads are just mirrored from Japan. ^^; So, I'd hardly call them "exclusive." ^^; They are out for a limited time only, so maybe THAT can be viewed as "exclusive"? XD; We are JUST getting Deoxys for download while the UK got them years ago, I believe. ^^; I got mine yesterday at Gamestop. :3

haha! One would hope. ^^ I think it's also to make money off of the people who can't access country exclusive items. XD;

Haha, yeah I see where you're coming from. I'm quite jealous too, but I'm happy to be a part of such a great community and all, I get a lot of merchandise from pkmncollectors actually. ^^ But no, I don't think there are any US only pokemon items here...there's quite a few Jakks figures/plush at just about every walmart, target, etc. but I think that's about it. I found a lati@s kite this one time that was kinda neat, but nothing big really.

Ahh, you're lucky you get to do even that much. XD I'm all the way on the other side of the country in WV...know of any places for poke merch around here? I know there's always NYC but even that's a little far from here...especially with the crazyyy gas prices now and whatnot. bleh.

Oh, I know. I LOVE~ this community to death! <3 I always feel so privileged to be a part of it. =^^= I've gotten so much awesome stuff from here that I would otherwise never find or would have to spend up the ass and back. XD;

Um... not too familiar with stuff out in West Virginia. Sorry. ;_; Perhaps you could google toy stores out there with the word "Pokemon" included and see what you come up with. :)

You're lucky you live somewhat close to NYC. I've always wanted to visit the now Nintendo World. I just wanna buy some decently priced Poke plush. XD; I have a friend who lives close to NYC, as well. She lives in Maine. But I couldn't ask her to go all the way down there to get me Poke goods. ^^;;

Can you maybe get there by bus or train? Would that be cheaper? ^^
