i thought i would make a fresh post about the AZ Pokemon Collectors Meet Up. this is for the people who know about it and to hopefully let people who might have missed my two previous posts about it know about the meet up:) click below for more info!

I may be bringing a couple of my friends who don't regularly read the community but also collect Pokémon stuff. And if anyone in Tucson is waffling about coming, I can totally give you a ride!

I'm happy to do whatever; I can't eat very much so probably I will bring my own food, but I don't mind hanging out with people at a restaurant. (vegan + food allergies = restaurants are for other people) I don't really know anything about Phoenix unfortunately. But I am looking forward to meeting folks! :)

you are awesome! :) bummer about your food allergies:( i have a friend who is diabetic; so she has to really watch what she eats. she always brings almonds and apple slices when we go out for lunch;) so i understand bringing your own food.

Thread jacking but OMG WE SHOULD HANG OUT. I just moved to Tucson with my GF and we don't know anyone. I can/will make delicious vegan foods.

According to that address, it looks like that theater is not at Fashion Square Mall. It's more like an strip mall I think... I had no idea there was a theater there, I think it's rather new. It also looks like there's some restaurants, like a pizza place, fast food, and a Sweet Tomatoes (like a buffet place). So I'm sure we can find a food place everyone likes. As for shopping places for Pokemon stuff, the only place in that area seems to be Target. I thought there was a Toys R Us, but I guess it closed...

And I may be able to drive people, I'll have to see as it gets a little closer. It would probably only be people who live around Sky Harbor Airport or in between there and the movie place though. I'll let you know.

wow! i should have looked at the address before i posted this; it is not at a mall at all! it does look like a shopping center. very odd theater choice. i think we should be able to find a good lunch spot. as for shopping.....yeah, not much. maybe we can find something not too far from there to go to.

I thought it was a weird theater choice too. >.< It says it's an Ultra-Star Cinema (?).

there is a toys-r-us right on indian bend road right when you get off at the exit it is right next to joanns i used to go to joanns all the time since i live in fountain hills it is the only place i have to get fabric for plushies hehe

Yeah, it looks like all of the theaters are Ultra-Star when I look them up, aside from the restaurant theater XD; weird. Fashion Square is only ~3 miles away from the Pavilion theater, though, if we wanted to go walk around there as well.
