That is so sweet of your beloved ones! Telling you that they were thinking about you must make you feel very happy you have such great people around you, right? :D

Haha, I love how your family is! And I do agree with them, you should never let yourself go down of what you are doing. Be proud and be yourself! <333

My family doesn't really know since I live on my own, but I don't think they'd mind or anything. :3
I live with my boyfriend, and he's really supportive. He buys me stuff sometimes too.

It's true! I think that only one supportive person is enough to satisfy you and make you feel happy about what you are doing! :)

Oooh, so you noticed the ones on SALE as well? :D

my father bought me pokemon things from car boot sales mostly figures or tcg's or a tin with tcg's a few times and two pokemon plush. But mostly neither he or my mother can understand why i collect pokemon the way i do. My mother tells me everytime she saw i got something new "Don't spend all your money on this stupid things". So she don't understand me or support me in this, but i have learned to live with it since she never had any high hopes for me or any understanding for my wants, likes or hobbys, when they have gone against her will. And i don't really want to know what my other relatives (25 years+) say to this.

My boyfriend understands it at least since he likes to collect animes vinyl figures.

Ah, you mean the "Flohmärkte?"
That's pretty sad that your mom is expecting you to like something else you do, because imo, even though I think that you should take the advice of your parents and obey them, I think there is a limit of what you can do and you cannot. If you have your own money, why should somebody care what you do with it? Happiness takes one step forward, and that one step for you is Pokemon collecting.

oooh, it is still nice you have another person supporting you! He collects anime figures? From which ones? :D

yes i mean "flohmärkte" xd.

I don't really know if she has ever understand me, so i don't really care now in what she has to say about my life. I'm 26 years old and it is my life now, sure you ahould hear the advice your parents give you, but that doesn't mean you have to obey everyone off it. I pay with my own money for my pokemon items or i get a few as present, but i don't use there money so i don't care what she has to say about it, so long i don't buy items and can't pay for them afterwards, because i spent all my money for the month already.

He collects no specific anime, only the ones he likes (i only say big boobs -.-). He is after one or two boa hancock figures atm and maybe one from Trafalgar law or ace for me, xd.

Haha, then I know :D

Yeah, you are pretty much adult now, and even though you are her daughter, you are on your own. Exactly, you just can't be the goodie daughter and obey every little thing. NO KID does that. And as long as you just pay for your own things, your mom should not care what you buy.

OMFGOMFGOMFG, you like Trafalgar Law too??? You should totally get this figure:

The photo is crappy, but I own it as an original, and it is a pure beauty of about 25 cm or so! <333
Of course, I think every anime collector that is male likes mostly the big boobed things XD

aww, that's so sweet =^^= i don't think my parents care one way or the other since i don't live with them anymore xD but mom and dad are always amazed at how my collections and everyone's collections on the comm have inspired the plush i make. They're always more astounded by my customs than anything else xD As for my boyfriend, he approves of the reasons I collect and as long as my expenses don't exceed what money I make from my customs, he's okay with it =0w0= He even has a soft spot for some of my collections. I think my wailord pokedoll, Wibbly, is his favorite xD

I know right? I have such a sweet dad! <3
That is actually intersting, because customs are something made by yourself. Handmade. That is actually art, so I do not sometimes wonder why your parents are impressed by your customs!
Nice to hear about your bf too! Even though there are sometimes people who are not into Pokemon (and I don't really mean your bf), there are always exceptions when they like something out of something they don't like as a whole :)

it's certainly more than some parents would do =0w0=
Aww, thank you =^^= I love doing customs cause they make people smile <3
Yeah, my boyfriend isn't hardcore, but he doesn't mind pokemon and i'm slowly corrupting him. he surprised me when he said he wanted to play ruby or sapphire, and i was like, okay...you feelin alright hun? xDD He says it's fun to play, but not to watch someone play hahaha

Oh yes, my parents appreciate my art as well, especially the school projects I have done in the past :D
I think customs make every person smile, because it's just something you do one of a kind :D
Hahaha, I do agree with him, I rather play then watch, while others do it the other way. There is always an exception in people what they like :D
