This is the official FAQ post. Please reply if you have any questions and they will be answered and added here.
General rules apply to all tournaments unless clearly stated otherwise in that rounds FAQ.
General rules
Q. If a pokemon is hatched with a HM/TM move learned can I keep it?
A. No. All HMs and TMs are off limits, you must delete it at the move deleter or replace it with the next level up move.
Q. My team is all (TYPE HERE), this sucks! Can I change it?
A. Eggs are all mixed up and given out at random. If you get a bad set you just have to make the most of it.
Q. I over leveled, can I still take part?
A. No. Level caps are enforced and if you over level you must switch off your DS and load your save again pre-over leveling or you cannot take part. Special exceptions maybe applied and if there is enough time (and you have a very good reason and evidence to back it up, like a shiny being caught) then you may get another set of eggs.
Q. Can I EV train?
A. Yes, EV training is allowed but is against the spirit of pkmn_tournament. It is ment to be fun and not too serious, so excessive EV training is frowned up on.
Q. Can I use Vitamins/Rare candies/Macho brace?
A. Yes, you can. You may raise your pokemon as you see fit.
Q. Are hold items allowed?
A. No, Hold items of any sort may not be used in the tournaments.
Q. Can items be used in battle?
A. No, no potions, full heals or anything else is allowed in battle. Items are completely banned in any form once you connect to wifi to battle.
Q. What do I do with the pokemon after the tournament?
A. They are yours to do with as you wish.
Q. How do I report a Win/Loss?
A. Goto the current weeks post and reply to your opponent with the same result or make your own comment stating the following.

Opponents username :
Winner :
Pokemon remaining : Species:Name/Species:Name/Species:Name
Q. My opponent cheated! What can I do!?
A. Report it to a mod and the player must show his team as soon as possible to cheat for illegal moves. If nothing is found the match will be replayed. If you have a digital camera taking a picture of the offending action clearly showing the named pokemon would be extremely useful to the mods, although not vital.
Q. Who are the mods for the community?
A. Bucue and Roxaloxa
Q. Can I evolve my Pokemon?
A. If they evolve before the level cap, trading or using some kind of item you may use their evolve forms.

Q. What is the level cap?
A. Round 1 has a level 20 cap.
Q. When does the battling start?
A. Opponents will be drawn on the 19th of May.

Q. Where can we make suggests for round 2?
