A very brief status update. I'm not where I wanted to be as of the last update, but I'm managing. I spent the majority of the weekend outlining a 20 page paper, and then making a powerpoint for that paper (using an open source powerpoint like program.) Did the report today. It went fell, except there were some major formating issues with my presentation. Namely, half of the pictures didn't work. Luckily, I suspected something like that might happen, so I brought my computer and showed everyone the pictures off that. Sleep schedule is quite erratic at this point. I sleep when I'm tired. Took a four hour nap after I got home from class today, going to spend most of the night typing up the paper from the outline. Then I won't touch it till Thursday night when I'll probably do an all nighter proofing it and adding the final touches (hopefully). It's due Friday at Noon. Hope to have ot done and delivered by 9am.
Still need to research and right ten page paper for one class (due monday at 4pm). Plan to totally bullshit it, and fall back on my knowledge of Japanese History, Prepare a 5 to 10 minute speech for another class on Thursday. It's based an ongoing project for that class. Finally, have to re edit that paper, and submit it next Tuesday. Then I'm DONE, and I wait with baited breath for my grades.
In other news, Distant Worlds is this weekend (music from the Final Fantasy videogame series.) Looking forward to it. Weather's looking like it'll cooperate. Fortunately, chicago is close enough that I should still be able to get some work done before I go (and while I'm there too). After that, Rifftrax in a week. Then back to p-ville for Christmas. Not sure what I'm going to be doing for New Years though... tentatively thinking of spending it in Eau Claire.
Well, break time's over, back at it. By the next update, I'll have found some way to do it all. That's a scary thought. @_@
