On all the stuff for which that is appropriate.

Semiannual is a bit vague, meaning at certain intervals during the year, not to exceed "too many".

Biannual is a bit vague, meaning either twice a year or every two years.

The way I always learned it was:
biannual == two times per one year
biennial == one time per two years

Of course, that could be wrong...

half-price books... I know of one within a few miles of my house... I would love to check it out soon, although I have no clue where I will be able to fit any more books in my small (but cozy and homey!) apartment...
