So yeah, I finally got around to updating this. Here is the whole sordid tale of how I switched from Sprint to Verizon.

oh hun....I have the opposite from you. MY problem was Verizon. I was told that my contract end at the beginning of Sep/ 04. Then they called me back in the middle off Sep and told me it was at the end. Two weeks after the end of Sep. I was then told that it was at the end of 06. Thanks to them I now have a 657 bill to pay for early termination. It turned out that when my hubby went replaced his phone which was on warranty, they automatically signed him up for another year. We spent three month arguing with the district manager, region manager, and whoever was in charge of them. And we got nada.

so be careful.

Don't changes plan...you will be signed up for another year without knowing it. And Warranty means jack to them.

now I have no cellphone.

See, in the way, Sprint was nice to me. Because they let me just go ahead and end my service, since they couldn't legally hold me to the new contract. Yay for Sprint! (except for reception)
