dear japan, i hate you.
today was my first day at nin-"no-comment"-tendo, and i got fitted for my OL (office lady) uniform. that's right, the women wear uniforms. but it's optional, so i'm probably never going to wear that dark grey poly-wool blend atrocity and will let it fester in my locker. anyway, i had to order size 15, which is about an XXXL by japanese women's standards. thanks for the confidence boost, nintendo!
but thankfully my chaiken suit from bluefly arrived today. i ordered a size 8 jacket and skirt, but the sent me a size 6 for the jacket. i was worried the jacket would be too small and i'd have to return it, but it fits perfectly! thank you, american sizing, for reminding that i actually am a normal healthy size and not a pile of lard.
