Weekend? What Weekend?
Why is the weekend over already? It flew by. I don't know where it went. I guess working most of the weekend didn't help much either. I think on Saturday next week I am going to disappear for the day. Go into stealth mode and ensure that I get some proper rest in there somewhere. I don't want my immune system to crash after all.
I did show up for half a day at work (Sunday). Things were quiet enough that I could safely knock off and go to my gaming group. I am enjoying my character in that game and he is making great progress! I am actually learning a lot about medieval siegecraft, which is something I have had little occasion to learn about. Not exactly an applicable skill in my life so far but one never knows.
On Saturday I went shopping at the new Boarders Books here in Olympia and picked up a copy of one of my old favorite movies, Rosemary's Baby. I watched it last night and I really enjoyed seeing an old classic. Roman Polanski is such a gifted director, I also liked his Ninth Gate film which had similar themes as Rosemary's Baby. I would love to see him do an adaptation of a Lovecraft story. I think he might be able to pull it off really well.
